Definitely addicted to this, wasn't sure how picross would work in a rougelike but this has such a satisfying balance and it's really intruiging for the focus to be more on speed and slickness than in other games, love the atmosphere. There's a hudge breadth of items and upgrades but don't feel like you need to be an expert on its own systems to get to grips with it unlike some rougelikes where that can be a bit overwhelming. Also love the presentation and atmosphere it's a really creepy but fun game. My only complaint is with gamepad controls - I'm greatful to have them on a game like this but sometimes detection can be a bit off and there are a few ways it could be streamlined - analogue pointer/mouse control would be nice and maybe using trigger holds to focus on side panels would be more efficient than scrolling over to the side of the puzzle. Another tweak that would be nice is being able to handle controller and mosue input at the same time - so for instance on steam deck or thor I can use touchpad for pointer control. Mappings are ok for now but trying to use steam input to replicate that kind of behaviour breaks dragging items to slots which is compulsory. Generally it's playable but a bit clunky and with time being of the essense dampers what coudl be a great on the go experience. But for keyboard and mouse sat at my PC, it's a 10/10. Just wish a bit of polish on gamepads was there to make that same expereince shine on handheld.
