Lots of work needed to make this worthwhile, even for free. Audience members stacking on each other’s laps, supremely annoying name tags hanging above everyone’s heads, no way to browse your local file structure for videos, no way to turn off the laser pointers projected from your controllers, only 1 theater environment, the only interaction with other viewers is a limited selection of emojis and you’re not even watching the same video, so what’s the point of any of this? The concept is interesting, but this goes nowhere with it. Go get Bigscreen (also free), Cmoar VR Cinema, or Virtual Desktop if you’re looking for a theater simulator that’s actually useful.
It would be more cool if they made it so everyone was watching the same movie like a real movie theater. Netflix should so do that. If you have Netflix you can go to vr Netflix movie theaters. hahah

Completely useless. You cannot control the software using Index Controllers, a Gamepad or Keyboard and Mouse. Nothing works.
Жена сказала, что если на этом обзоре наберётся 10 лайков и 5 наград, то она подарит ящик пива. Мужики, выручайте!
Seems ok except that I can't see any video. It finds movies I have on my system and then it has the loading symbol and that's it. Same when I tried to watch the online trailers. I like that I can select any seat. What I really want to see (but can't) is that I can adjust the brightness luminosity and hopefully this removes the God Rays that makes the other cinema app unuseable. But until I can figure out how to get the videos to play it's thumbs down.
CINEVR - Social Movie Theater is a free video player in VR. It worked on my HTC Vive system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. You have a theater that multiple players can view and talk and a beach for private screenings. You can play Only local digital files but other players don't see what you are seeing. Whenever you use the program, all users online will appear in the movie theater. You can invite friends to visit with you in the theater, but only Facebook friends. It has some selected streaming videos that are only traillers. Looks like it was ported from Android. For me, everything looked good and stable. Update - 3 Augt 2024 = Requires an account with devs, for username and password. Login to use this program, otherwise sit around in the login lobby. Tried this on my Index system. Try it, for a video viewer with a movie theater feel. For more info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6XbCMfxuQQ
Excellent VR Theater, probably my favorite of all. The screen has the perfect shape, size and distance, seats look like premium seats, making the theater itself feel very cosy and comfortable for watching movies. In the past you could not browse files from your PC making the app a bit useless but that was fixed some time ago and now it is one of the better options out there.
CINEVR, videoları tek başınıza veya arkadaşlarınızla izleyebileceğiniz sanal, sürükleyici ve sosyal bir Sinema Salonudur.
Extreme Ruckler ... Die Augen schmerzen !
Broken...Can't select from folders so the program is useless
