Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Sep 9 → 3.86/day in the week after.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this game feels so niche but its really worth the money, amazing story (even though youre walking A LOT) but really its worth the money and time. (i was always panicking when ophelia showed up)
нет спасибо у нас есть фатал фрейм дома
This one kept me on the fence for most of the time I was playing. I felt the visuals were sub-par (too much bloom) and the pacing too identical to a walking sim to truly appreciate the messages and intent the developers were trying to achieve. In terms of gameplay, it plays out much like a walking sim except there is a maze-like quality to it where you have to find keys, hit specific cutscenes and talk to the main focus of each chapter at certain points to progress the story. I do also think some people will struggle to understand the MC and his role in the whole proceedings without looking up discussions on forums. The game only hints at who he is - even the blurb on the game's store page doesn't give you any information. So in some ways the game comes across as too vague. And if you don't understand what is going on, how can you care about it? Oddly, I really enjoyed the Ophelia chapter (black butterfly). This chapter is different in that you can't talk to the star of the story... rather, the star of the story will run around chasing you with a ceremonial sword, and you have to run and hide in specific cupboards as you can't fight back. (I can't call it a chapter number as you are free to choose which one to do first, it doesn't matter what order you do.) There are only three chapters, with a prologue and an epilogue that continues from the prologue. Technically the epilogue is a chapter too as it has one of four chunks of ash you can collect to get the true ending, but it is far too simple and short to be a proper chapter. I confess to following a guide too as I was worried I'd be bored out of my mind running around with no clue what to do. Likely I'd end up falling asleep. Disappointingly, the true ending doesn't really add much. I think what pushed the game into the positive for me was finding out what happened to each family. The events leading to each tragedy, understanding why they ended the way they did. The black butterfly chapter, while different and fun, also seemed to me like it was impossible to get caught as long as you were running, so maybe it isn't as gripping or scary once you realise this. If you go into it blind then I'm sure your play time will be longer, but the chunks of ash are a little convoluted in places, even just to make them spawn. On the other hand, use a guide and it'll be a quick game. Having said all that, it does have a unique character to it, great atmosphere and some interesting effects, so I recommend it. ps: I initially played the game on one monitor, with a second monitor active. After discovering mouse movements caused the mouse to leave the game window, I got quite frustrated with this, and changed from window mode to fullscreen. STILL it kept happening. Ultimately I turned off the second monitor, reverting from 'extended' mode to just 'monitor 1' in the computer's display settings. If you like having multiple monitors active, especially for having a guide up, then I recommend disabling extra monitors and referring to a guide via the SHIFT + TAB in-game menu.
