Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I received this as a gift, but I wish I never did
Chronicles of the Witches and Warlocks is a supernatural hidden object adventure developed and published by 8Floor that embraces the familiar strengths of the genre while delivering an entertaining mystery centered on crime, magic, and deception. The story follows attorney Kathleen Wilson as she attempts to prove the innocence of Danny Reed, who finds himself accused of murder under circumstances that appear increasingly suspicious. What initially seems like a routine legal case soon spirals into a larger investigation involving witches, forbidden rituals, and secrets concealed beneath the surface of an otherwise ordinary town. The game's premise is immediately engaging, establishing a sense of urgency that encourages players to push forward in search of answers. The narrative leans heavily into classic mystery conventions, but it does so with enough enthusiasm to remain compelling. Kathleen's journey is filled with unexpected discoveries, and the game steadily introduces new twists that expand the scope of the investigation. Rather than focusing solely on courtroom drama, the story branches into supernatural territory, giving the adventure a distinctive identity among hidden object titles. Although veteran players may anticipate some of the plot developments, the combination of occult themes and detective work creates a pleasant balance that keeps the experience from becoming predictable. The pacing occasionally slows during longer puzzle sections, yet the overarching mystery remains strong enough to maintain interest throughout the campaign. Gameplay adheres to the traditional hidden object formula, offering a steady rotation of item searches, environmental interactions, and mini-games. Hidden object scenes are detailed and thoughtfully arranged, rewarding observation instead of random experimentation. Puzzle segments vary in complexity, ranging from straightforward tasks to challenges that require a bit more patience and attention. This variety helps prevent the game from becoming monotonous, particularly during its later chapters. Players who enjoy casual adventures will find a comfortable and accessible experience here, as the controls are intuitive and the objectives are generally well communicated. Visually, Chronicles of the Witches and Warlocks captures the atmosphere of a classic fantasy mystery. Its environments are rich with moody lighting, ancient artifacts, and locations that reinforce the supernatural tone of the story. While the graphics clearly reflect the era in which the game was produced, they still succeed in creating a believable setting filled with intrigue. The soundtrack complements these visuals nicely, employing subdued melodies and ominous undertones to enhance moments of tension. Character models and animations are relatively simple, but they serve their purpose without distracting from the central narrative. The game's shortcomings are largely tied to its age and adherence to genre conventions. Certain sections can feel repetitive, especially when several hidden object sequences appear in close succession. Some dialogue lacks refinement, and there are moments where the localization feels somewhat uneven. Additionally, players expecting significant innovation may be disappointed, as the game remains firmly rooted in the design philosophies of mid-2010s casual adventures. However, these issues are tempered by the game's consistent atmosphere and its genuine commitment to telling an entertaining supernatural tale. In the end, Chronicles of the Witches and Warlocks succeeds as a modest but enjoyable hidden object adventure. It offers a satisfying blend of mystery, fantasy, and puzzle-solving without overcomplicating its mechanics or narrative. While it may not stand among the genre's most memorable releases, it remains a worthwhile experience for players who appreciate stories involving magic, conspiracies, and investigative gameplay. Its greatest strength lies in its ability to deliver exactly what it promises: a relaxing and atmospheric journey through a world where nothing is quite as it seems. Rating: 6/10

帰ってきたと思ったら、こんな◯◯共が一律1,700円とは……もう、永遠に帰ってこないでくれ。
It's average in every sense of the word, but it's ok to kill some time with some acceptable puzzles.
