Fun boom shooter, fun 100% grind. Lowkey punched hole in wall trying finale achivement
Chop Goblins is one of those short, sweet, and to-the-point micro FPS games that was a fun and memorable gaming experience. You’re not going to find some compelling story here or epic boss fights, but you will find some of the funniest and most random things that will make you laugh out loud and enjoy it all in stride. It’s easy to get into, fun to play, and you’ll finish this in an hour. Sometimes we all need a good gaming palate cleanser, and Chop Goblins is perfect for that. I went into this game blind, not knowing what to expect, and I had a great time playing this. I couldn’t stop laughing while playing on a level designed after Count Dracula’s castle, and being an avid horror fan, the “boss fight” was hilarious. You’ll see what I mean when you get there. I loved fighting the diverse and comical enemies. There are some good weapon choices here, easy Steam Achievements to earn, and overall, a very short game well worth the price. There are even slow-motion parts when you get some big kills as you literally chop goblins. The graphics are nice, and the soundtrack is fantastic. I highly recommend Chop Goblins. It’s a super quick game you can enjoy over a nice weekend and get a few laughs out of it. It’s not to be taken too seriously, and I was shocked at how simple and fun it was.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.33/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Five unique levels with fun weapons, enemies and music. What more could anyone want from a boomer shooter? One caveat: some secrets are veeeeery hard to find.
It's not any better than Wolfenstein, and much shorter too. Just barely worth the money, but I feel like you could do better for $5. For instance: Buying Wolfenstein. I beat the whole thing in like 20 minutes first try. If you do buy it, don't play on the hardest difficulty. The projectiles are so fast and the enemies so aggressive that you basically have to just pop out, shoot, instantly duck behind cover, repeat until all the enemies are dead before you can enter any room. If I wanted to play a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ version of Gears of War, I'd play Gears of War: Judgement. And you know it's not a skill issue because I beat the whole thing. I got all the achievements, you can check my profile and you'll see.
Chop Goblins is a really fun throwback to old FPS games. With a charmingly nonsense story, short replayable levels with plenty of secrets, and a handful of different modes, Chop Goblins is well for the few hours needed to complete it. I'd highly recommend this game.
A fairly short yet substantial boomer shooter with a lot of charm! Highly recommended!
Simple FPS done right.
Holy moly this was fun as hell! The gameplay is top notch; no bs, only enter and play. The scenarios don't make sense but at the same time they are very well designed; loved them. The soundtrack is amazing, too. If this game didn't have music and that much action I could have sworn this was a horror game, I jumped on my seat a couple of times at the beggining of the game hehe.
