[Chilla's Art] Aka Manto | 赤マント

Aka Manto ist eines der wenigen Games, die ich abgebrochen habe. Es ist sehr stressig und noch dazu wird man mit sehr vielen Items zugeworfen mit denen man anfangs nichts anzufangen weiß. Und dazu kommt, dass man nur drei Items tragen kann und davon ist eines für den Feuerzeug belegt, weil man sonst nichts sehen kann. Es gibt leider auch keine save Funktion, was das Game noch schwerer macht.. Wenn man stirbt muss man wieder komplett von vorne anfangen. Muss sagen, dass das absolut nicht mein Gameplay ist, was auch zu der Bewertung führt. Ich wollte das Spiel in der Zukunft irgendwann nochmal nachholen.. aber es sind schon vier Jahre vergangen, seitdem ich das gezockt habe und konnte mich bis heute noch nicht dazu durchringen es nachzuholen.

I watched a playthrough of this game when it came out but never played it myself. I've been doing runs regularly and honestly this is one of the most stressfull games I've ever played and I havent even finished it yet. It's very difficult due to the one life mechanic. I respect the game for it but besides Alien Isolation this is the only horror game where I have to take breaks in between playing because of the stress. Having only 1 save would have been better for the games enjoyment while keeping the difficulty, but I still love it nontheless. Visually and sound wise fantastic and charming and I love the direction of the urban legend transferred to a game. Having only 3 item slots makes the game unnessesarily tedious sometimes. Having some more slots wouldn't have hurt the game loop or design, but thats my only main gripe with it. As of now, I will keep trying from time to time to beat this. The game is so intriguing that I can't help but try again and again. In short Aka Manto is an amazing game if you're prepared for whats coming. 8,5/10
