Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 10 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Aka Manto is a frustrating game. A good game, but VERY frustrating at times. Aka Manto does so many things right, only to let its difficulty and main monster make the experience feel cheap. The item collecting aspect of Aka Manto is fantastic. Solving the different puzzles around the school is challenging and fun. Aka Manto does a great job creating a tense atmosphere with its sound design and creepy PS1 style graphics. Where Aka Manto goes wrong is with Aka Manto himsself. This dude seems to know exactly where you are at all times. It just becomes a game of running away from Aka Manto and completely losing where you are. The layout of the school is a bit confusing and it doesn't help when you're being jumpscared and screamed at. The portals and the baby face make the experience way harder than it needed to be. I feel like there should also be a little more audio warning for Aka Manto. Sounds of footsteps, nonsensical voice lines, or anything sound related would help so much. Aka Manto's AI ranges from being a complete idiot to knowing where you are at all times and chasing you exactly AWAY from where you need to be. Related to the audio cues thing I mentioned earlier, since there's no audio cues for Aka Manto, sometimes I'd be a few steps in the dark away from him and not know at all. It was super frustrating at times, especially in tight hallways. You might see all my rambling and ask "Why did he give this a 'Yes" then if he dislikes it this much?" and the answer is that I don't dislike this game. I just know it could be a lot less frustrating. Having no saves is this games downfall IMO. Hourlong runs dying at the finish line is really upsetting. Lets just be honest here, this is a Nun Massacre clone. A slightly easier Nun Massacre clone, but the formula is good enough to where I don't care. If you like hard, old school horror, this is for you. Be prepared to lose long runs though, as this game is unforgiving. 8.5/10

Pretty good Chilla’s Art game. It’s really stressful and has a genuinely uncomfortable atmosphere which makes you never really feel safe. The horror here is way more focused on pressure and tension but because of the AI there are also some actually really good scares. The game is also surprisingly difficult. There are no saves so if you die it’s over. At first that can be pretty frustrating but after playing it a few times you start getting through it pretty consistently. What I especially liked was the design of the school. It’s extremely well made and together with the sound design the game keeps this really creepy atmosphere throughout the whole playthrough. I honestly ended up having way more fun with it than I expected at the beginning.
I shat my pants, almost had a heart attack, screamed like an animal, and there it goes one of the best horror experiences I've ever had. 10/10.
I refunded it because I got way too scared but it's a good game
YEA I WOULDNT CALL IT FUN TO RESTART MY PROGRESS EVERYTIME I DIE...... Fun game 9/10
Aka Manto is Chilla’s Art’s best game by a mile and a masterpiece in its own right. The game absolutely nails tension, keeping you stressed and on edge from start to finish. It creates an atmosphere where you never truly feel safe, and that feeling sticks with you throughout the entire experience. The gameplay itself is pretty simple. It’s basically a Granny-like game where you collect items and bring them to certain locations while avoiding the monster. On paper, there’s nothing particularly special about it, but the way the game builds and maintains tension is unmatched.
What really stands out is how the game refuses to let you get comfortable. Just when you feel like you’ve figured everything out and can finally relax a little, Aka Manto transforms into a much more aggressive and terrifying version of himself. It completely changes the dynamic and throws you right back into survival mode, making the second half of the game even more intense than the first.
If you’re only going to play one Chilla’s Art game, make it Aka Manto. It’s not necessarily their most ambitious game, but it’s easily their most effective and one of the best horror experiences they’ve made.

this game is really scary but really hard
This game is very scary and is very well designed in the horror aspect. Except, the game mechanics make this game seem pretty cheap. The worst part of this game is that wherever you are, every monster is around the corner. This game takes every opportunity to teleport every monster right near you, and it is very clear making gameplay go from scary to annoying real quick. Secondly, there is a permadeath mechanic that is not optional. The permadeath added with the non-stop monster barrage makes this game more of a task than a fun yet terrifying experience. Now, that's just me; if you enjoy stuff like that, go right ahead and get this game. This is just some unique aspects that are good to know about this game.
