Aurora, a young girl from 1895 Austria, awakens on the lost fairytale continent of Lemuria. To return home she must fight against the dark creatures of the Queen of the Night, who have stolen the sun, the moon and the stars. At stake is not only Lemuria, but Aurora’s true destiny.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I've played through this from start to end on switch, and now playing it here. Child of Light is probably my biggest surprise that i jumped into this year. I expected something that would just pass a little time, but instead I got something that hit every sense just right. This is probably the closest a game has ever come to a perfect work of art that I have ever seen any come. it is amazing. But the weird thing is that, because of being a sensory overload, it is exhausting to play in long blocks. There is so much I have to take in at once, I just need breaks. But every second played it just full of love. This will go down as one of the best games I have ever played...easy. Drawback: Ubisoft.
An example showing that turn based rpg games can be short and to the point without overstaying it's welcome. Despite not having much in the way of gearing and skill systems, the game's battle system is surprisingly deep, often offering a variety of choices. Do you attack? Do you defend? Do you risk danger or play it safe? The push/pull of battle is quite interesting and is an interesting take on the FF style ATB system this game seems to be influenced by. The visual direction is great. I would say it's weakest asset is it's story, as it fails to really grip me or give me any sort of urgency or importance. Much of the story is written in fairy tail rhyming which at times feels forced and hard to understand. I wish I didn't wait 10 years to play this. It was a fun time.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I know I'm late reviewing this but CoL has been sitting in my library for a long time and I recently knocked it out. I'm glad I did because it is a fun game to play. Keep in mind this game is over 10 years old, so I would consider it pre-DEI. Yes the lead character is a girl and there are plenty of other female characters but it is not a woke game, and there is an actual story here that some thought was put into, and I would argue this is one of the last good efforts form UbiSoft before the gaming industry started to lose it's mind. That having been said it is just a fun game. If you like turned based RPGs and want to play an interesting take on that genre then check this one out. Time for me to dust off another old one from the library, cause the gaming industry these days needs some help.
Overall fun game. Good mechanics, design, story, good controls
Child of Light
I love this game so much and highly recommend it to everyone, everything about it is amazing, the story, the gameplay, the art, the soundtrack, especially the soundtrack. I first played this game before I could even read when I was like 6 and had my parents read out the dialogue for me, it was one of the first games I played to completion, I recently replayed it a couple months ago and its even much more beautiful than I remember, the story is great, I love the way nearly all the dialogue rhymes and reads like a poem, the soundtrack is AMAZING oh my god, I love Aurora's theme so much, if I know how to play an instrument, I know how to play that song on it because I learn it on any instrument I can because it's so good, music from the soundtrack gets stuck in my head constantly, even before I replayed it.
