an easy recommend from me. Chernobylite isn't a perfect game but it more often than not handles itself very competently, and I'd even say it punches above it's weight in a good couple of areas. However, I would say that if you're looking for a game that's 10~ more hours of STALKER, this isn't the right game for you. If I had to recommend it based on any other video game, I'd honestly say fans of MGS V or peacewalker would feel very comfortable here. Until the end game I found myself using stealth primarily and the gameplay itself seems more centered towards that play style. Not to endlessly compare this game to the triple A games of yesterday, but I do have to give the dev's credit for your in-game "party." The writing and the gameplay (seriously, shoutout to how you have to actually learn new skills from your party teaching you as opposed to just checking off a skill menu) went a good length to get me to care about the characters as more than side mission monkeys. To top it off, the dev's send the story out with a bang with a mission that hews very close to the suicide mission at the end of ME2, and honestly managed to feel just as cinematic.
didn't finish the game yet but i do not understand the frustration of stalker fans, this game is trying to be a stalker like and it's succeeding on replicating the environment and atmosphere, and alongside taking inspiration from this war of mine, which is a great game on it's own, this way it makes it innovating in stalker universe. Performance could've been better, true, but it's mostly because of my outdated configuration. story feels sluggish but connection between igor and tatyana times cool, especially when you find a random note and igor gets a flashback with her, super wholesome. Elements of stalker are present with the game's presentation, and i do consider it a stalker experience, but, and bear with me, it heavily reminds me of sniper ghost warrior 3. at times it feels like a 1:1 remake of that game. get it on the sale and don't think, just play it, it's good.

Мой опыт и отзыв. *Играл ещё ранее (на иной платформе - не на стим аккаунте). Наиграл где-то суммарно в общей сложности 65-85 часов. Играл не спеша - черемша - четыре карандаша прохожа. В целом могу сказать что игра очень зашла и очень хорошая (к слову познакомился же я с этой игрой ещё в 2022-м году). +Атмосфера +Сюжет +Прикольный гринд ресурсов для прокачки (но не душный +можно не делать на этом акцент) +Универсальность сбора оружия +Графика приятная, не сильно требовательная Прошёл конечно же на 100%, так скажем в коллекцию. Приятная и интересная игра, затянула с первой покупки и играл в неё 1-2 недели очень плотно по ночам и вечерам (потом отложил и прошёл до конца спустя год но не суть). Стоит ли её проходить и брать? - Да, скорее да поскольку это интересно да и почему бы и нет на вечерок поиграть. !!! - Я не сильно слушал реплики и вникал в их суть, но в целом даже так я сам по себе понял про что игра и сюжет очень хорошо, я пропускал реплики и мелочи в этом плане бо это могло растянуться ещё на пару часов возможно, по сути это мелочь и не влияет никак поскольку сюжет и прочее вы и так поймете. - !!!
So far from what I've gathered, this is a very in depth game where you are in the surrounding area of Pripyat after the Chernobyl incident gathering a team that you have to ration, craft beds for and select missions for while also completing your own such as collecting food and crafting resources or pretending to be someone else to get into the enemy area. There is also some combat and weapon upgrading, psychological horror elements of flashbacks or ghosts, and gathering clues to find your lost love. Very immersive, though wish it explained things a bit clearer like a TO DO list, especially after coming back after a while.
