Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

In PS1 times I played Vigilante 8 and Twisted Metal games to pieces, and my friends during split screen sessions hehe. The car deathmatch genre we haven't seen that much since then, some games do have an extra mode in which you have to fight against bots or other players with your vehicles but after those two titles I still can't remember a title in this genre, yes, destruction derby, but this title was without weapons, but Chaos Of Wheels fortunately does have this, and plays surprisingly very well. Only a pity that there is currently no online mode available, this could improve the replayability, but what is not can still come since the game is still in early access. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OP-iBIDD5Sg
Might be good one day.

Holy CoW! Yes, I went there! Chaos on Wheels is a hidden gem that brings back that glorious old school car combat feeling I had growing up. I've been watching the game for quite awhile after discovering it on Youtube and later on the Unreal Engine Forums so naturally I was intrigued. Later the Demo released recently I think and after playing that it perked my interest enough to buy it. I certainly was not disappointed and here's what I think of it so far after playing a short while... + PROS + ++++++++ + Good Story, I like the direction + Good Audio, I like the sounds and voicing and great music + Good Gameplay, I like the unique gameplay style that pays homage to Twisted Metal, Vigilante, and Carmageddon games of the sort + Tutorial + Story/Campaign + Difficulty Options + Controller Support, thank you for this + Destructible Environment, I love this + Lots of Explosions + Lots of Cars + Lots of Customization + Lots of Upgrades + Lots of Weapons + Singleplayer and Localplay + Replayable with Bots, theres a mode you can play against bots so that's good + Can be Very Challenging, I have died quite a bit - CONS - ---------- - bot cars are kinda easy to kill at times and other times annoyingly somehow impossible, and yet almost too easy compared to the turrets, feels like it needs more balance between the two - Controls are very clunky, yes they work okay, it's tolerable, but it feels so slow and not as responsive. I have a very hard time trying to aim while driving around and with the shooting in there no less trying to toggle through weapons and whatnot as it's really off and doesn't quite feel right yet as a lot of the time I had to pretty much stop where I was at just to try to get a shot in almost like I need to turn up the sensitivity slightly to make it feel a bit smoother and looser for a better arcade feel...idk...it is a different game though so not knocking it entirely just doesn't feel the same as the old school games. - I got stuck in the mud several times, I do love that idea, but there was a couple times where even with the starter car ability the car still struggled to move out of it almost like it was completely stuck there for much longer than it should have been even though I guess realistically that might make sense I suppose but it was still kind of annoying and frustrating at the same time. - Cycling through the various missiles can feel very confusing because I have no idea what any of them actually do or are for other than hearing about it in the tutorial, firing them to see what they do since none of them are labeled to indicate hey this is a homing missile and this is another missile, only the icon looks different and that is very frustrating. - There's lots of pickups on the map but again its the same confusing problem as the missiles and I have no idea what any of the pickups are actually for except the wrenches which are obvious and the missiles are obviously weapons but anything else not a clue, please fix that with a new tutorial section for each, or put a name above them so we know what each is! - The Homing Missiles don't seem to regenerate even with pickups which makes having them totally useless as I cannot seem to target or home in on any cars or turrets after using them all at the start of the campaign or a local match against bots which I can see both fire these quite often throughout the entire match which makes me believe that this should regenerate or fill back up with pickups therefore I think it's broken. - No Online Multiplayer, I don't have friends that live near me to play this game with and my family really isn't all that much into gaming except for me, therefore, the local play is totally useless imo. I am glad there is bots in there but without the Online Multiplayer which I am hoping to see in the future as I am rather disappointed about that part. I think having that would help this game thrive more if it does get added. - The Localplay with Bots should have armor pickups and it doesnt or maybe its just not working, I see the bot cars repairing everything with armor and yet I can't find any and die a lot even on easy - Game Crashed on me once so far. = VERDICT = ========== = Chaos on Wheels in a nutshell is a riveting Car Combat game that tells a great story while bringing back that wonderful old-school arcadish feeling that existed back in the days of Twisted Metal and Vigilante 8 as I played the hell out of both of those constantly! The game plays really well already right out of the box though there are a number of issues that I would hope to see improved upon with hopeful future updates that I think should eventually be addressed over time so that it can grow into something successful! We despirately need a successful car combat game like this here on PC and this could be the one! After playing the game just a little while, yes I will be playing a lot more, I feel in the game's current state my interest in the game is enough to keep playing it and recommend it! I don't have any doubts about the game, I love it and everything it has to offer so far! I do hope to see more from the developer!
Finally something like old twisted metal games
👎 not a fan right now. it gives me road redemption vibes, the rigid car that cant roll over, no air control if you will. Nothing fancy like visible car damage just extremes from okay to exploding. wait until digital revolver buys this for you to.
Where to begin...? As a car combat fan, I had high hopes for this game coming in. But as of now I cannot recommend this game. Firstly, the load times are atrocious. I may not have the best PC, but it can run some fairly graphically intensive games no problem. This game, on medium graphics settings took 2+ minutes to load just to the MAIN MENU. Okay, not the best first impression, but maybe it'll get better once I get into the game? Nope. The game is a choppy mess, which isn't helped by the less than stellar control scheme. I was playing with a controller, and was constantly trying to fumble to remember what button corresponded with what weapon. Simply put, there are too many different ways to attack. You have your top mounted turret, which shoots both bullets and rockets. You have different rockets you can pick up and swap to that fire from this turret (the tutorial doesn't explain what each type does, so you have to figure it out yourself). You can only fire 3 rockets from the turret before it has to reload. You still following? Good. Then, there's the hood mounted guns, which fire in a fixed straight line. These guns, along with your top turret can overheat, and both have their own separate temperature gauge that you have to keep track of. Finally, you have your homing rockets. According to the tutorial "the most powerful weapons in the game". How these work are that you have a limited number that can't be replenished. You have to select whether they home to hostile sentry guns that spawn throughout the map, or the opposing cars on the map. I never managed to land a single hit with these. Or if I did, it didn't do any damage. So much for "homing" missiles that are the most powerful. For those keeping track, that's 4 different methods of attacking, assigned to 4 different buttons, with 4 different things you have to keep track of (ammo, temperature or assigned target). It's especially difficult to keep track of all of those things, because the HUD is a complete mess of gauges and meters that are spread throughout the entire screen. Compared to Twisted Metal, which has all of the info neatly in the bottom corner, with 2 methods to attack that can be swapped through quickly. Another grievance I have is there's no damage on your car or alert sound for low health. I died several times, thinking I had more health than I actually did. There may be no health warning, but there are certainly character voices. That you can't turn off. After one battle, you'll have heard all the voicelines for that character. And finally, why on Earth do car combat devs insist on having realistic car handling? Twisted Metal figured it out in 1995: that in order to have fun run & gun gameplay, the cars need to handle like hovercars, so you can spin in place and make super tight turns. Instead, in this game, the cars turn super sluggishly, leaving you open to attacks with no great way to defend yourself or make an escape. Maybe one day this game will live up to it's potential, but that day isn't today.
FINALLY A GAME like Vigilante 8 and Twisted Metal, thank god that this game features offline game modes like: offline custom matches against bots with/without split screen, awesome voiced over campaign were you leave nothing but destruction, and a chaos career too. I am so glad that this game is completely playable offline and have local save file instead of some other garbage online only vehicular combat games out there. I am REALLY looking forward to seeing this game develop, adding new weapons and being more optimized for lower end computers It was well worth my money.
Honestly? Not a big fan. Game looks horrible, audio lags every time i fire the machine gun, and I've just heard the devs abandoned this one to make a sequel.
Graphics look like it's from early 2010. The cars handle so poorly. It's an arcade game not a sim racer. You randomly get stuck in mud but you can go over the same spot and not get stuck there again. For me it was too repetitive and I got to the third mission. In regular career mode after you beat a mission you unlock upgrades but I did not find a way to equip those anywhere. Not worth full price. Thanks to the dev saying I should post in discussions or join their discord to be more effective. I want to play a game and enjoy it. Not waste even more time on this game.
An old but very good idea - the execution is worse than some mobile games. The controls are terrible, especially the camera. The image and sound (midi) are like playing on a phone with buttons. At the moment the game has one, but the Big Plus is the appearance of the cars, they are simply wonderful, seriously they are as they should be - almost perfect. Therefore, all hope for update 2.0 !!!!!!
