剧情非常细腻，讲述了一个悲剧的种子早早被播种、并在这个家族延续的故事……一个内里四分五裂的家——每个人自己的人生也都过得不幸，因为或内疚、或失意或憎恨而变得面目全非，给别人带来伤害……可是在这些扭曲的表面下，剧情又让玩家看到了在这个大悲剧的幕布下面每个人物自身的小悲剧，我觉得十分触动。 “白杨树可以通过其后代获得重生……就像这个家一样。” 当家人间放下对彼此的那小部分芥蒂，尝试理解对方的痛苦，一句“不是你的错”、或是“对不起”终于能短暂让对方从痛苦中获得片刻的解脱。悲剧已成，这已是既存的事实，不幸的人生终还是需要自己去面对，人还是要继续前进。 遗憾落幕，伯纳德的阿鲁计划被带进了他的坟墓，而在家人最后齐聚这座老宅的3天，却也让我们重新认识了这样一个疯癫颓废、“一事无成”的老人曾经那段充满了理想主义的鲜活人生。 很棒的游戏。

Oyunun anlatımı biraz uzun ama çok güzel. Evde yaşanan tüm olayları görünce kedi olarak geçen 3 gün bile çok çaresiz ve uzun geldi, Aspen'in yıllarca sessizce köşeden izlediklerini kimseye anlatamaması çok kim bilir ne kadar çaresizdir. Özellikle 2. gecenin akşamında yaşanan o olaydan sonra Liam'a daha da üzüldüm ve Aspen'in buna sadece miyavlayarak seyirci kalması işleri kolaylaştırmadı da. Ama çok güzel oyun, duygusal.

[i]“Do you think this place is really haunted?” “It’s not places that are haunted... it’s people.”[/i] Sometimes you finish a game, and it stays in your mind for a time and that is the case with this one. You play as Aspen, an elderly cat whose owner just died and the whole family comes back to the manor you inhabit for the funerals. As you expect, in this type of scenario, there’s a lot of drama and you follow it from afar, never really being part of the conversation. The game keeps you interested because the family drama is also linked to the history of the manor and whether or not something supernatural is happening in its walls. Although the game looks like a puzzle game, the puzzles and where to go next is always pretty clear, the game is mostly an interactive fiction from the point of view of a cat ... with the limitations of being a cat. You can’t open doors, you can’t say anything, and yet Aspen manages to be the main force that makes the story progresses. In the end, it’s the writing, the clever humour and twists that are the main assets of this game. I also really liked the pixel art, that despite not giving any faces to the characters manages to be very expressive and on point. The game is fairly short, but it explores deep and meaningful subjects and offers a deeply rewarding experience that is well worth an evening of your time.
