About

Explore a vast, dynamic open world filled with the echoes of a once thriving civilization. You are constantly striving for survival, elated at every meal, and thrilled with every sunrise. Uncover hidden locations, encounter other survivors with their own stories, and discover the secrets buried beneath the rubble of the old world. Traverse diverse biomes, each with its own unique set of dangers and opportunities.

Choose story mode or survival mode for two completely different experiences. Get engrossed in a thought provoking story or just simply survive as long as possible. How many days can you last?

Scavenge, gather, craft or trade essential tools and weapons to navigate the dangers that lie between you and surviving. From improvised shelters to essential supplies, every crafting choice is a step closer to mastering the art of survival. No inventory sorting. All your stuff is sorted automatically so you don't have to waste your time flipping through pages of UI.

Encounter dangerous wildlife, other survivors, and desperate scavengers as you traverse the hazardous landscape. Gain XP that unlocks character upgrades and search for crucial supplies from every encounter. Everyone is fighting it out for the same resources.

Balance your basic needs – food, water, and shelter – while managing resources for the arduous journey ahead. Make strategic decisions that could mean the difference between life and death. Can't find what you need to survive? Trade anything you find of value with the merchant. That includes things like jewelry, cigarettes, and even toilet paper. Things that were once taken for granted are much more valuable after the storm hits. Also no chopping down trees! That has been done enough in other games and kills the immersion. Honestly who chops down a whole tree with an axe in 3 swings? You can however chop fallen logs.

It's a dangerous lonely world. Your character can suffer from not only physical ailments such as broken bones and the flu virus, but also mental health issues like depression and anxiety, depending on the choices you make.

The storm has scattered families and shattered lives. You're over 100 miles away from your loved ones, and every step toward them is a step into the unknown. Navigate treacherous landscapes, overcome obstacles, and brave the remnants of a world torn apart. When you play on story mode, experience a gripping narrative as you navigate the emotional challenges of survival, not just for yourself but for the family waiting at the end of your journey. Every discovery, every setback, and every triumph is a chapter in your unique story.

I’ve been having a lot of fun with this game so far. One thing to be aware of is that the game does not currently have controller support, so you’ll need to play with mouse and keyboard. It definitely gives me some The Long Dark vibes, especially with the survival mechanics, scavenging, exploring, and having to think about what supplies you’re going to need. You’re constantly coming across abandoned houses, destroyed areas, notes, and other little pieces of the people who lived through the storm. Finding notes and seeing the stories left behind by people who survived, or didn’t survive the disaster adds a lot to the atmosphere. It makes the world feel like something actually happened there instead of just being a game world filled with random loot. You never really know what you’re going to find when you walk into an abandoned building or head into a new area. There’s a good balance between scavenging for supplies, exploring, and trying to stay alive. I’ve run into a few bugs here and there, but nothing major or game breaking. They’re more like the occasional little glitch you’d expect from an indie game, and they haven’t really gotten in the way of my enjoyment.
Survival mode doesn't work at all. When you choose it, you then choose the area you want to spawn, then it kills you immediately and freezes, Can't change controls, movement is janky, bugs galore. This game wasn't even remotely close to being ready. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME YET.

Game has issues, like not being able to pause when you have drop a deuce. Thought game might pause when you go into options,, come back to my game i'm dead. When the game reloaded my character is holding a phone while my headless body is running around the house. I'm not going to savage this game because it's an indie and it's only 12bucks. Maybe some of you might enjoy it, but it doesn't scratch any itches for me. If you do play DON'T pick story mode, it's such waste of time.
Came across many bugs in half an hour of playing, even just starting the game kept spawning me into death and wouldnt allow me to restart or quit so I had to Alt F4 and retry until it worked. Once I finally got playing, it was sluggish movement, very restricted zones (This is not "Open World Survival Craft") and the combat left much to be desired.
there really isn't much to do. its a cool concept but the game feels rushed and very under developed.
Don't touch with long pole. The game doesn't even have settings menu in the release version. I've tried starting new game 5 times, died before game loaded. Just don't bother...
Overall, solid game. For being put together by one person the gameplay over the first hour is pretty solid. I have not yet run into any bugs, and my only real complaints come in the form of QoL options. A few initial examples: to leave the house you need to craft an axe to cut down a tree. The recipe calls for 2 wood and 1 metal. To your right is 1 wood, and 1 metal. The placement here (giving you some but not enough) feels odd, but this is ultimately minimal as you just need to look around the property for a moment. when you read a note in the game there is no way to just speed up the display. you need to wait for it to render line by line. An option to press space and display the entire text would be amazing. I am only about an hour in at the time of this review, but overall the love and care poured into the game is apparent, and I have not really run into any major bugs. As I progress through the game I will update with any relevant information
It’s a really solid survival story game so far! I’m really enjoying my time with it. There’s actually a lot to do between exploring, scavenging, crafting, managing your supplies, and dealing with the different things you come across. I am playing on story mode and its been really enjoyable I also really like the theme. You don’t see as many survival games built around natural disasters compared to the usual zombie or post-apocalyptic settings, so it’s really refreshing to have a game focused on surviving the aftermath of a massive hurricane. I just have a few small QoL suggestions, mostly nitpicky UI stuff. I think the subtitles could use a little improvement, and it would be nice to have some kind of day/night indicator or clock showing how far along you are in the current day. The notes and some other UI elements could also be a bit cleaner and easier to navigate. Nothing major tho and honestly really fun!
Incredibly boring and linear, couldn't make it 20 minutes before wanting to fall asleep
I had great hopes for this home-brew game but it's very amateurish. Sad.
