Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 31 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
<-- Review written for 3 Point Play -->
This is the third or fourth game in the Physical Exorcism series. I haven't really played Loser Reborn, so for me, it's the third one. Unlike the first one (a kinetic novel) and like the second one (an RPG) this is a dice-based RPG. Now, you might say: "Well, all RPGs are dice-based!" and of course, you're right. But here, it is all about explicit dice rolls, you'll see those dice and you'll look for a reliable roll with little input of your own, as you're only able to get more dice, or change the roll result via an item later on, yet it's all RNG one way or another. In this here Case 02, we're dealing with a paranormal infestation in a hospital: All the patients are either dead or have been turned into zombies, and there are also many critters that could potentially end your life (and force you into the main menu, as unlike the previous game, there are not any conveniently placed almost-forced save spots/situations; do save on your own, or you'll lose like 10 minutes or so running the first stage again) and we're also playing another different character (that, based on what I've read in Loser Reborn's store page, seems to be that game's main character) as we try to get out alive while trying to save a girl. Simping never stops it seems. We also get to see characters from the other games, namely, Bruce and Jade from the previous two Cases, and it seems the Grandmaster is from Loser Reborn, but they're not playable. Overall, I'd say it's a different experience than the previous two games, it had me a bit more engaged, and it's also a bit longer in terms of playthrough duration, it took me like 1 hour to finish it if we disregard how I forgot to save early on and lost some progress. The story, as the previous two games, is pretty interesting, and the premise is simple, the mechanics are really easy to learn, and it's a pretty nice time-waster for when you want to play something with some content yet don't really have the time for a 80 hours JRPG. I've really started appreciating these kind of games as I became older, nowadays a working adult and student with not-so-much time to play... Either way, the game has a proper ending, but it also has a cliffhanger implying the arrival of yet another game in the series. I, for one, can't wait for the next one, as I've been enjoying them a lot.

It had a very unique style of battle (not in a bad way, either!) A short-ish but sweet game with you, Marty, going through a paranormal situation. I loved the art and story... looking forward to play the rest of the series!
Alright I will start off by saying that Case 02: Paranormal Evil is my least favorite game of the Physical Exorcism series. It has the potential to be a really decent JRPG game that surpassed Loser Reborn. I'm giving the game a positive review because I still had fun with it, yet there are some game design choices that held it back. Think of this review as a neutral rating, game has its moments of equally fun and rage-inducing moments. Story If you played Loser Reborn before then Case 02: Paranormal Evil should continue where it left off. You basically wake up in a hospital overrun by evil spirits, zombies, and monsters. You meet up with a girl named Sally then you both try to flee the hospital only to be halted by the perpetrators, a cult leader and their goddess. Sally gets kidnapped and the Ghosteaters find you lying on the floor. It is up to you to save Sally and beat the undead. I'll be honest, I felt that the story was too quick in instantly making Marty develop feelings for a girl he just met. It could be explained by the suspension bridge effect but I felt it was unrealistically fast for affection to develop but then there are evil spirits and zombies, so I'll ease up on it. Gameplay Okay this is where most of my criticism will be aimed at, do note that I started off playing the game on hard mode. For the most part, the game plays like a normal JRPG game with RPGMaker visuals & mechanics. The main mechanic that differs from previous games in the Physical Exorcism series is the dice mechanic. Basically you roll a dice and there are varying events that can happen depending on the total number that you rolled. You could fight a monster and either kill it but take 6 damage, kill it but take 3 damage, or kill it without getting hurt. That's one of the examples that that can occur in the game. But what happens if you roll something that you don't want? Well later in the game you get certain items that raise your total number by 3 or even 8 but at the cost of LP. The game gives you two bars, HP and LP. HP is simply the amount of damage you can take before it's game over while LP is what lets you use those items to raise your total number rolled. You also have three stats pertaining to you dice rolls which are Firepower, Dexterity, and Willpower. Each stat is tied to different events such as Firepower being used for killing monsters while Dexterity helps you bypass some obstacles. There are item charms that boosts these stats which means that it adds more dice that you can roll. Okay I have explained the main gimmick of the game and I can easily tell you that the game tilts heavily towards luck. This can lead to frustrating experiences in the game especially when you miss a successful event by one number. The only thing you can do is try to increase your odds of success by getting higher-level charms. The other option would be returning to title screen and loading a previous save. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SAVING OFTEN AT DIFFERENT FILE LOCATIONS. There really should have been a load option implemented due to the amount of whiffed rolls you can make. This last criticism is going to be towards the hard mode itself and the game's final boss because I felt it was a bit overkill. If you choose to engage in hard mode, your rolls will be limited to 1-3 instead of 1-6. This means there will be events that you will "fail". I don't mind this too much but expect yourself to lose HP a lot as you progress through the game. Hard mode is doable for the most part until you get to the last stage of the game. I will flat-out say that the final boss is way harder than it should be because it drains so much of your resources. I would not be so upset about this if we were allowed to spend our money that's earned in the last stage to restock but that opportunity is right before the door and even then you're most likely poor. Basically in hard mode, the final boss is just a resource grind, if you have an adequate amount of ghost jelly and clover honey then it shouldn't be bad if you somehow managed to kill the large spawns of minions without using them a lot. Verdict So for anyone who didn't read all of that, the game relies so much on the dice mechanic which already is a game of chance in itself. It mostly comes down to a game of resource management which once again is heavily determined by how lucky you are in getting out of fights unscathed. The best thing you can do is increase your odds by getting items that literally add another dice to your rolls. Did I hate the entirety of the dice mechanic? No, I actually thought the thrill of rolling dice was entertaining and a cool concept to explore. But I find that it does not mesh well with a game that also encourages tactics and it does not feel good to lose on a dice roll. Once again I played it in hard mode so I was already asking for the pain. You can come to your own conclusion on buying this game and if you do then play on normal mode first. That way the dice roll mechanic should be way more forgiving and feels less bad. I still enjoyed my time and now I need a small break for my fingers right now, cheers!
