Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cart by Cart: Supermarket Simulator is a cute and cozy shop simulator with very simple mechanics. The entire game takes place on a single screen that you scroll left or right to manage your product shelves. Your main task is to buy goods, unpack them one by one, and arrange them on their designated displays. There are fewer than 30 products to manage across several categories like basic shelf goods (such as pasta, breakfast cereals, and olive oil), refrigerated items (meats, dairy, and juices), baked goods (bread and patisserie items), fruit and vegetable crates, and flower pots. While placing items on shelves can feel a little clunky at times, the system is snappy and responsive enough for the most part. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3750443920 The game keeps a relaxing pace throughout, without any complicated mechanics. You can buy additional shelves and place them in the default store area, but you won't need to worry about expanding your store's space. Items have set selling prices, thus you don’t need to micromanage them; despite this, it would be nice to have them visible in-game. There’s also no hiring mechanic where you manage employees and pay them to do the work for you. Instead, you get to focus on arranging your store and the customer checkout experience. When customers arrive at the counter, you click on the products one by one to scan them, then bill the customers. Cash payments require you to manually hand back the correct change, while credit card transactions require you to type in the total amount to bill their card. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3750443879 The days are intentionally short, featuring just a few customers per day with plenty of breathing room in between to unpack boxes and restock a few items. Ordering new products is also instant, meaning you never have to wait around for deliveries. Aside from checking out customers, your only extra responsibilities are cleaning the floor from time to time and watering the plants you have on display. Overall, Cart by Cart: Supermarket Simulator is a nice and low-stress shop management game that lets you enjoy the simple satisfaction of running your own little market without any unnecessary hassle of micromanaging things. It has a few rough edges and could benefit from some minor improvements, but overall it's a fun game to play during an evening. Plus, it has easy achievements; they require you to play only through the first 20 days (this takes roughly 2h). This is a really relaxing supermarket game. You stock shelves, mop the floor, work the checkout, and throw away spoiled items to keep the store running. I like that customers don't get impatient right away like they do in a lot of other games, so I can take my time. My favorite part is organizing the shelves. I always end up making everything look neat before moving on to the next day. Sometimes I feel like I have a bit of OCD because every shelf has to be perfectly aligned, and if something is missing I have to restock it right away LOL If you enjoy cozy management games and like keeping things organized, I recommend giving this one a try!
Cart by Cart: Supermarket Simulator is a relaxing shop simulator game intended for low effort with its simple mechanics and lack of time restraints. Unlike a lot of simulator-based games, in Card by Cart you don’t have to unlock anything. There’s no grinding for levels, you don’t need to do this or that to unlock specific groceries, shelves, or employees. It’s just you in your cozy little shop fulfilling all roles. All items are also available from the start, requiring nothing more than money you earn as you play to acquire. The gameplay loop itself is very simple. You buy different kinds of shelf storage, such as a fridge, a bakery shelf, etc, and place the relevant groceries on them. Food and plants have their own expiry so you have to keep an eye on it all to make sure nothing goes bad while watering the plants regularly. It’s best to keep stocked in-between customers, keeping a variety of products available. You do get a basic tutorial at the beginning of the game to explain everything to you, and while it’s incredibly wordy it does give you a great idea of what to do and how to keep after your products. While Cart by Cart does play its role well as a simple, relaxing simulator game, it has notable flaws. First off- when you interact with customers, you simply call every customer “sir” with the same line regardless of who they are. In such cases, I feel like the dev should be just using a more neutral term. Or just saying, “Yes, I’ll get to it right away” without the need for it. The placing on shelves can also feel a little janky. There seems to be more of an invisible grid snap than letting you just place it wherever within the shelf, which I think might be a bit annoying for some who really like to be organized and pretty. Or maybe I’m just not patient enough for lining it up to be pretty. While I’m not a fan of money=time comparison for games, I do feel like the price of Cart by Cart is a little steep for what you get. If it felt more polished, I’d definitely be more keen on recommending it for the price. One of the most unfortunate things being if you tab out, the game cannot continue playing and will wait for you to tab back in. I much prefer relaxing games like this to allow you to progress and tab out while you’re waiting for customers, if it did I might have put a bit more time in for the 100%. But it just ends up making it feel a bit slow, when needing to stock your shelves and tend to customers has such a gap between it, with the main filler being cleaning - but even that isn’t overly frequent. Unfortunately, I cannot willingly recommend Cart by Cart. I don’t think it is a bad game at all, and I am confident there are people who would love and enjoy it in its current state. There is a charm to it, but this just isn’t a game I can personally recommend. With some time and polishing on some things like the above mentioned issues I do believe my opinion on it could be swayed. But for now, this is just not a game I personally can recommend to people. Once again, not that Cart by Cart is bad. But maybe I am just not the specific audience it wants. Key was provided by Genco Interactive to Otome Lovers for review purposes. This is a pretty STANDARD supermarket simulator, but unlike other supermarket simulators, it features a pleasant chaos rather than stress. As the store grew, I realized there were other things going on in the background: spoiling products, flowers needing water. To be honest, this game was one of the two supermarket games I was expecting, along with Next in Line (another 2d supermarket game)
🛒 Cart by Cart: Supermarket Simulator 🔹 Organize prateleiras. 🔹 Atenda clientes. 🔹 Expanda seu mercado. 🔹 Visual aconchegante. 🔹 Progressão relaxante. 🔹 Lembra os clássicos jogos de navegador. ⚖️ 8/10 – Bateu uma nostalgia dos tempos de Flash!
Cart by Cart: Supermarket Simulator

Visual Aspects:
The game has a fairly simple and understandable art style. The color palette is also quite appropriate for the genre. I would have liked it to be more detailed; for example, I would have liked the product packaging to be more detailed, but it is quite clear that a bag of chips is a bag of chips and pasta is pasta.
Gameplay Mechanics:
The game begins with a narrative, and from that point on, you can do everything in the game. This is actually my biggest doubt, because instead of giving the player everything at once, it would have been better to have it unfold gradually day by day. On the other hand, I identified a few areas that needed polishing. While these don't disrupt the main flow of the game, they're something that should have been fixed by now. I saw that a new update came out shortly after purchasing the game, and while I'm hopeful about that, I think the developers need guidance. The organization and item placement feel isn't bad, and trading money is enjoyable to a certain extent.
My final thoughts:
It's different from 3D supermarket games, but definitely needs to transfer some fundamental elements from them to Cart by Cart. The most positive aspect of Cart by Cart is that instead of simply stacking shelves, the stacked shelves interact, demand attention, and are part of an economy. This eliminates the idea of just stacking them. I think its main shortcomings lie not in the game's core structure, but in its details. For a cozy game, I would have preferred some things to be smoother.
Cute, relaxing, and fun. Between graphics and music it reminds me of something RogueDuck Interactive would come out with so if you like their games you would definitely like this one. It has two differences from other grocery store sims I've played and in my opinion it makes it more fun. 1. If a customer pays with cash it doesn't tell you how much to give back so you'll be doing the mental math of that, but there's no coins so it's not hard. 2. You have to put away cold items before they go bad. I also love the nonchalant complaining of the customers.
I wish I could give a mixed review. The gameplay is fine but I cannot recommend it as a cozy game, which this is advertised as. The customers are borderline abusive and honestly if I wanted to be yelled at I'd go work at a grocery store and get paid for it. Pros: Easy 100% achs Edit: Am satisfied with Developer's response and changing to recommended as this issue will be fixed
I see shelf, i stock shelf
my rating: 7/10 Cart by Cart is all about running a supermarket and doing everything yourself, but it felt like I spent way too much time just being a cashier. I’d love to see other areas expanded too.
