Carpe Lucem challenges and entertains players by transferring classical 2D puzzles into the virtual space. It creates a whole new way of interacting and playing mind teasing puzzle games and it made nobody sick in hundreds of demos at trade shows. VR equipment such as HTC Vive or Oculus required.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 27 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Carpe Lucem - Seize the Light VR is a virtual reality puzzle game where the player bends, blends, reflects, and redirects brands of light in order to progress. Each puzzle consists of a set of light emitters, a variety of artifacts for the player to interact with (directly, via applying light, or both) and a set of color-coded receptors, all of which must generally be activated in order to solve the puzzle. Everything is suspended in midair in front of and around the player, delineating a zone where she can move around, inspect the problem, think about solutions, and try things out. Each group of puzzles is surrounded by a unique environment, brightly colored yet soothing. The music and sound effects are soothing as well, combining with the visuals to produce an almost meditative atmosphere. The main game is fairly short - I only spent a few hours playing through it. However, it also supports Steam Workshop and features a builtin puzzle editor, so there's plenty more potential enjoyment to be had untangling new problems or devising your own puzzles with which to bedevil your friends. Carpe Lucem is a tantalizing taste of the future of VR puzzle gaming.

Slow paced, relaxing puzzle games in beautiful cartoony enviroments.
Its beautiful and quite fun. Try it out
This is a wonderful relaxed puzzle game, The addition of a third dimension adds a great deal to this type of game and being able to pick up, retate and place elements just makes it a really compelling and tactile experience. Try the demo. The addition of workshop support is a great bonus too! The backgrounds are also really pretty and performance is solid. One of my favourites.
This is one of the best games to be played in VR! 1) It has a nice, beautiful and calming style with good looking graphics and sounds. 2) Interaction with the objects is natural (like in real life) and the behavior of the various objects are easy to understand, but still require thinking to be used correctly to solve the puzzles. 3) During the game the puzzles get more and more complex, but since it just feels so natural it is easy to continue playing and finally discovering the solution is really satisfying. 4) The whole family can enjoy this game as it is easy to understand, has a very easy control scheme and since you are simply in another room/dimension where all locomotion is done by walking inside the boundaries of your play area without any artificial motion or teleportation there is no way anybody can feel any discomfort. This game is highly recommended to anyone who likes puzzles and/or wants to show the power of VR to the family!
Lovely puzzle game and designed with intention for VR. A good example of a game that works well BECAUSE of VR.
