Car Mechanic Simulator 2021

great game can still recommend in 2026 very enjoyable and great for gaining some basic knowledge about cars . and especially for a 2021 game it still holds up

Something so primal and satisfying about fixing up cars. Need more space in my parking though. Cant wait for the new 2026 game to come out.

A lightweight car mechanic game that will appeal to those with mild OCD and perfectionist streaks. This is farily lightweight car mechanic simulator, with little of the detail of fixing a real car, eg most parts will fit all car models. However if you enjoy 'fixing' a car my removing damaged parts and replacing them with new then you will like this. There is a set of improvements you can unlock for your garage as well as your own skills which make jobs much easier and faster. The diagnostic tools are particularly helpful at finding the bad parts and will avoid tearing apart the enitre car. There is also a test track, athough the driving simulation is very basic. Hunting through the junkyard and barns can be fun but utimately you have to be picky about what you grab because even when repaired some of it is not that useful. There is ample garage space to unlock if you just want to collect you favourite cars and build them to perfection. Sometimes there is nothing better than buying a rusty wreck from the junkard and rebuilding back to 100%. This 2021 version adds rusted bolts, which is a nice additional detail. There are also 'loot crates' that contain various bonuses. These arent a nice improvement, but you will need the XP bonuses to get to level 50 in a reasonable amount of time.
