About
Little Sam, the quirky owner of the business, will introduce you to its secrets. He’s not great at keeping things in order, so your task is to buy low, fix up, and sell high. In the full game, if you handle the initial tasks well, you’ll have the chance to take over the business, and then…

Everything will be in your hands! Build a business that fulfills your customers’ automotive fantasies. From budget-friendly cars to extravagant rides, seize opportunities, hire the best, provide excellent service, and maximize profits. Grow your company day by day.
The key to achieving high profits lies in negotiating when buying old cars. Look for great deals, and during price haggling, stay firm and professional.
Not all purchased cars are in working condition, so you’ll need to use a tow truck to transport them.
Every car requires diagnostics and preparation before being sold. At Little Sam’s request, you’ll perform your first mechanical and bodywork repairs. In the prologue, the available tools are quite limited.
Presenting a car to the customer requires a few tricks. Washing, good photos, and an engaging advertisement will be your allies. Little Sam will guide you through tasks such as washing, taking photos, and creating a sales listing. Remember, customers buy with their eyes, so use the shine of the paint, a full tank, and quality photos to your advantage.
Your profits will allow you to continually grow your company. In the prologue, you’ll have the chance to upgrade the car wash, while in the full game, you’ll unlock additional tools, repair zones, and the customer service office.

Car Dealer Simulator: Prologue: Early Days is a surprisingly enjoyable little introduction to the idea of running a used car business. I start out working for Little Sam, who basically throws me into the job of finding cars, buying them for a good price and trying to sell them for more than I paid. It sounds simple, but there are quite a few small jobs involved in getting a car ready for sale. I have to find a deal, negotiate the price, tow the car back when needed, check its condition, clean it up and then put together a listing. I like that it makes selling a car feel like an actual process rather than just pressing a button. The buying side is probably what I enjoyed most. I have to think about whether a car is actually worth buying before I spend my money, because getting a bad deal can make the rest of the process much less profitable. The negotiation system gives me a little control over the price, while the condition of the car means I cannot just look at one number and assume everything is fine. I also have to deal with cars that are not working properly, which means getting them transported and doing some basic repairs before I can put them up for sale. It gives the game a nice little business loop. I also like the preparation work because it breaks up the buying and selling. Washing the car, taking photographs and writing the advertisement all have a purpose because I am trying to make the vehicle look as appealing as possible. It is not a deep mechanical simulator in this version, since the available repair tools are limited, but there is enough here to make me feel like I am actually preparing a used car rather than simply flipping numbers on a screen. The car wash can also be upgraded, giving me a small sense that the business is starting to improve as I make more money. The biggest problem is that this is very clearly a prologue. I can see the potential in the idea, but the amount of content is limited compared with what I would want from a full dealership simulator. There are fewer cars, fewer repair options and less business progression, so I reach the point where I have basically seen what the prologue wants to show me. I actually think that is fine for something that is free and designed as an introduction, but it does mean I cannot judge it as though it were a complete management game. I also think the driving and general movement are not always as smooth as the rest of the concept. There are moments where getting a car where I need it feels more awkward than it should, especially when I am dealing with towing and moving vehicles around. The game also has a fairly rough edge to some of its interactions, so it does not always have the polish I would expect from a bigger simulation. At the same time, I can overlook a lot of that because the main loop is easy to understand and there is something satisfying about turning a cheap, damaged car into something I can actually make a profit from. What works particularly well is how quickly the game gives me a reason to care about each car. I am not just collecting vehicles. I am constantly thinking about how much I paid, what needs fixing, how much effort I want to put into it and what price I can realistically ask for it. That basic risk and reward loop is strong enough that I would happily spend more time with it if the prologue had more systems available. The free price also makes the limited content much easier for me to accept because I am basically getting a proper sample of what the full concept is trying to do. Overall, Car Dealer Simulator: Prologue: Early Days is a good introduction to a simple but satisfying car trading loop. I like negotiating purchases, repairing and cleaning vehicles, taking photos, creating listings and watching a small profit turn into the money I need for the next car. The limited content, basic repair options and occasional roughness stop it from being something I would rate extremely highly, but I think the foundation is strong. As a free prologue, it gives me enough to understand why the full idea could be enjoyable, and I think the business side is much more interesting than I initially expected. Rating: 7.8/10
