Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Veramente pessimo si finisce in 10 minuti, non ha spiegazioni è effimero dall'inizio alla fine
Pretty ass. Coded poorly so when you press both sets of controls you can move at double speed, LOL. Im on a quest of at least trying every game in my library, of which I got plenty from all kinds of bundles. If you are interested in my journey, check out my other reviews :)

Из всех игр что я оценивал, эта определенно заслуживает обзора. Одна из немногих игр, в которых я действительно наслаждался последнее десятилетие.
CaptainMarlene is a small-scale science-fiction game centered on carefully piloting a spacecraft through confined areas filled with dangerous obstacles. Developed by Dnovel and published by Conglomerate 5, it takes a deliberately straightforward approach rather than attempting to recreate the complexity of a full space simulator. The player assumes control of the spacecraft operated by Captain Marlene, a courageous pilot testing a new vessel inside a mysterious base. The objective is simple to understand: navigate through hazardous tunnels, avoid collisions, and reach special platforms that transport the ship to the next area. The gameplay relies heavily on precision and patience. Instead of overwhelming the player with complicated systems, weapons, upgrades, or extensive management mechanics, the game concentrates on movement. Obstacles frequently leave limited room for error, encouraging cautious adjustments rather than reckless acceleration. Learning how the spacecraft responds becomes an important part of progressing through each section. Mistakes can happen quickly when approaching hazards too aggressively, while successfully slipping through a difficult passage provides the kind of satisfaction normally associated with precision platformers. This straightforward control scheme makes CaptainMarlene accessible while still leaving room for challenging situations. Players can quickly understand what they are expected to do, but completing the journey requires more than simply moving toward the destination. Positioning and timing become increasingly important whenever obstacles restrict the available path. Repeated attempts may be necessary before a troublesome section is mastered, giving the experience a trial-and-error rhythm. Players who enjoy improving through repetition will probably appreciate this structure, while those who dislike restarting after navigation mistakes may find certain moments frustrating. The teleportation platforms provide clear goals throughout the adventure. Reaching one means successfully completing the current navigation challenge before being transported farther into the base. This keeps progression easy to follow and prevents the game from becoming unnecessarily complicated. There is an enjoyable sense of anticipation when entering another section and discovering what arrangement of hazards lies ahead. However, the narrow mechanical focus also means there is relatively little variety outside of piloting and obstacle avoidance. Anyone expecting combat, extensive exploration, character development, or complicated puzzles should keep those limitations in mind. Visually, CaptainMarlene uses its science-fiction environment effectively enough for its modest ambitions. The enclosed tunnels and technological surroundings create the feeling of maneuvering through an artificial space installation rather than freely exploring an open universe. The graphics are functional and support the navigation-based gameplay by giving players recognizable environmental boundaries and hazards. It is not a technically elaborate presentation, but visual spectacle is clearly secondary to providing a readable environment in which careful movement remains the main challenge. The story functions primarily as motivation for the gameplay. Captain Marlene is presented as a brave pilot taking a new spacecraft through dangerous trials, giving the obstacle courses some narrative context. There is not an elaborate cinematic storyline surrounding her mission, and players should not expect extensive dialogue or detailed world-building. Instead, the premise provides just enough context to establish why the spacecraft is navigating these hazardous areas. This minimalist storytelling complements the compact nature of the game, although it also leaves plenty of room for greater character development that never becomes a central feature. Another advantage is the game's lightweight technical footprint. Its modest hardware demands make it suitable for older or less powerful Windows PCs, and the small installation size reinforces its nature as a compact indie production. This can make it an appealing option for players who want a straightforward game that does not demand significant storage space or powerful hardware. Steam Deck compatibility is officially unverified, so there is no confirmed Valve compatibility rating guaranteeing that every aspect of CaptainMarlene works properly on the handheld. Because it was designed as a Windows PC title and has relatively modest technical requirements, it may still be possible to run it through Proton, but players should treat Steam Deck operation as unofficial rather than guaranteed. Controls, interface behavior, or other compatibility details may require adjustment. CaptainMarlene is ultimately a modest game that succeeds or fails according to how much the player enjoys precision spacecraft navigation. Its strongest qualities are its easily understood objective, uncomplicated controls, lightweight design, and progressively hazardous environments. Its biggest limitation is its narrow scope, as there is not enough mechanical or narrative variety to satisfy someone searching for a substantial science-fiction adventure. For players interested in short indie experiences built around mastering a specific mechanic, however, navigating Captain Marlene's spacecraft through dangerous tunnels can provide an enjoyable challenge. Rating: 6/10
