I came across Caminos completely by coincidence, and honestly it almost felt like fate. As a Cuban, this game really hit home for me. You almost never see anything about Orisha mythology in games, and because of the deep-rooted syncretism and the fact that so much of the tradition is passed down orally, a lot of these stories aren't well known. It was really cool to see a game bring this mythology to life. I really hope you guys keep expanding the game and adding more stories. There's such a huge pool of Orisha stories that deserve to be told, and I'd love to see parts of the game that dive even deeper into the individual Orishas and their backgrounds. It's such a beautiful mythology, and I think more people should get the chance to experience it. Overall, I really loved the game. The art style was beautiful, the color palette fit everything so well, and the music was a great touch that made every scene feel more immersive. The gameplay was simple but smooth, and I liked the attack/item mechanics; they kept things interesting without making the game feel complicated. Amazing job, and I can't wait to see what you all do with Caminos next.
Great Game, Liked playing it

Camino is a really interesting stealth adventure that I appreciated mainly because of how seriously it treats its historical setting. I play as a runaway enslaved person making their way through the sugarcane fields of sixteenth century Cuba while trying to rescue their mother. I liked that the game uses its fantasy elements alongside a very real historical context, giving the journey a sense of purpose beyond simply getting from one level to the next. The main gameplay revolves around stealth, careful movement and managing limited resources. I can sneak past Spanish soldiers or silently take them out when necessary, which gives me some freedom in deciding how I want to approach dangerous areas. I enjoyed being encouraged to think about my surroundings rather than simply attacking everything I see. The environment becomes something I can use to stay hidden and create opportunities. The connection to the Orishas is another part I found especially interesting. Their blessings give the protagonist supernatural abilities, while cowrie shells play a role in the wider progression. I liked how these elements are connected to the game's Afro Cuban identity instead of feeling like random fantasy powers added on top. It gives the mechanics a stronger sense of place and makes the setting feel more distinctive. The hand drawn presentation is one of my favorite things about Camino. The visual style gives the game a storybook and comic feel while still allowing the more serious subject matter to remain at the center. The environments have a lot of character, and I liked moving through the fields while watching the world around me change. The music also helps create an atmosphere that feels reflective without slowing the game down too much. My biggest issue is that the game feels fairly compact. The stealth mechanics are enjoyable, but I wanted more enemy variety, more environmental situations and more opportunities to use the supernatural abilities in creative ways. Some encounters can also feel simpler than the setting deserves, especially when the story suggests a much larger struggle than the gameplay actually has room to show. Even so, I really respect what Camino is trying to do. The historical context is not just decoration, and the Afro surrealist ideas give the game an identity that I do not see very often in smaller indie projects. I especially liked that the protagonist is driven by something personal, because rescuing their mother gives the stealth sections a clear emotional purpose. Overall, Camino is a thoughtful stealth adventure with a strong visual identity and a setting that gives it real personality. I enjoyed sneaking through the sugarcane fields, using the Orishas' blessings and trying to stay alive while moving toward my goal. It is a little short and could use more mechanical variety, but the combination of history, fantasy and stealth makes it worth experiencing. Rating: 6.3/10

Loved the story that ties into the mechanics! The art and comic scenes were great.
