Call of Juarez: Gunslinger

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is one of the most surprising games I've ever played. The whole story is reminiscent of western tales told in dime novels or pulp fiction, complete with the exaggerations and tall tales of the old west. It is told in flashback, with most of the humor coming from the narrator, who is quite unreliable and prone to exaggeration and digression. Levels will rearrange themselves to fit the narrative he is telling. As for gameplay, the gunplay is punchy and you have the ability to slow down time. When you do so, the game changes its art style to resemble a comic book panel. There are hidden nuggets of truth throughout each level, which provide some background on various outlaws and the history of the wild west. The visuals also hold up very well for a game from 2013, helped especially by the strong art style. While short, it is absolutely worth the fifteen-dollar price tag. The only aspect of the game that I took issue with were the duels, which for me were difficult and not at all intuitive. I also had some issues with freezing, but I suspect it was compatibility issues with the modern hardware I was using. Still, I would give this game a solid 8.5/10.

ужасная игра,по началу прикольно,но в зависимости от класса будет ясно пройдете ли вы игру или нет,по началу все легко,половину игры все легко,и под конец резко не обоснованно поднимается сложность,неподготовленный игрок не ожидает такого

Remember playing this game on Xbox 360 in 2013 and loving it then. It's a dime novel Western single player game that shows it's age but is still a great time for 5-10 hours of fun.
