Call of Juarez: Gunslinger

Recuerdo que hace muchos años quería jugarlo, y ahora que por fin se me cumplió, puedo decir que es un juego hermoso y totalmente recomendado. Tiene un estilo arcade que le queda perfecto y deja un gran sabor de boca gracias a su jugabilidad, su humor y lo entretenido que resulta en todo momento. Los duelos son bastante interesantes y algunos incluso me hicieron sufrir más de lo que esperaba. En general, fue una experiencia que disfruté muchísimo y que cumplió de sobra con las expectativas que tenía desde hace años.

SHORT GAME that was fun to play. Its a different type of western shooter that is presented as an outlaw interview who relives some pretty tall tales with silly to impossible details and an unexpected ending that the player plays through. Theres not a lot of variety of enemy. A couple of different cowboys and indians in a couple of different outfits make up the whole enemy class. On just about every mission it felt like the guy you just killed got back up and started shooting again. This is very apparent in areas where multiple enemy are visible as they mostly all look exactly alike with no, to very little, variation. The player is presented with choices at certain points that guide the narration for the missions. I appreciated, and enjoyed reading, the lore and facts at the end of the game, which are limited, from a good sized list, to only the ones with secret item that found along the way. I found this to be really cheesy and cheats the player out of learning more about the characters, places and events that the game presented. While I only found a few secrets, in the form of black hats, I was not enticed, in the least, to replay the title and was annoyed with the whole approach of needing to find a "secret" to unlock some pretty interesting information that; A: The devs took the time to add, and B: That I feel should have been presented for buying and playing the game. The story, while semi-interesting for the first play through, was not engaging enough to relive some of the frustratingly silly events.
