It is so sad watching these three games slowly devolve into "campaign as an afterthought" using Warzone as a base. I know I'm in the minority of people who actually play these games for the single player and not just tunneling warzone for 70 hours a week but cmon. I don't *hate* the open combat missions but you can just see the writing on the wall. Single player doesn't sell these games, its all in the live service. And the devs know they can cut corners using it in the single player. Speaking of, whos bright ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea was it to put HALF OF THE STORY of all three of these games in the Spec-Ops. I would LOOOOVE to play it but none of my friends want to play these games. You are constantly confused with the story because of things happening "off-screen" if you don't have co-op partners. I only have this many hours because I was hunting down all the achievements I could get alone. Before I played this I was actually interested in MW4 but now? Skipping if its more of this.
Que final más malooo ctmmm XD

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is good but bad at the same time. Also, the game is almost dead (averaging around 3,000 users on Steam). The multiplayer is solid, with good maps, movement, and weapons. To be honest, I don't know what it's like to play right now since I stopped playing when Black Ops 6 came out. Because of that, I don't know if there are cheaters or if the SBMM is still annoying. As for Zombies, this is the WORST Zombies mode I've ever played. I don't know why they made a DMZ mode with zombies and thought we were going to enjoy it. The game mode isn't exactly boring, but to me, it isn't good either. Regarding the campaign, I haven't played MW2 at the time of writing this, but the story seems solid. However, this campaign is way too short; you can complete it in 4-5 hours if you're not dumb (though it's longer if you play on Veteran difficulty). Some missions are a pain in the ass since it's just DMZ again. Good thing there are only 5 of them and they aren't very long. The linear missions, on the other hand, are pretty good. Overall, I give this game a 6/10. I recommend it only if you are not interested in other games like Black Ops 6, or if you just really want to buy it (remember that Black Ops 6 is the best CoD of the last 6 years). Either way, only buy it on a discount.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III arrived with massive expectations, serving as a direct sequel to 2022’s Modern Warfare II as a new so called DLC. Developed primarily by Sledgehammer Games in collaboration with Infinity Ward, this entry attempts to strike a delicate balance between nostalgic fan service and mechanical evolution. The result is a package that feels like a mixed bag: an underwhelming narrative experience countered by some of the most fluid and satisfying multiplayer gameplay the franchise has seen in years.
The Campaign: A Direct Sequel with a Identity Crisis
The campaign picks up right where the previous game left off, focusing on Task Force 141 as they hunt down the infamous ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov. While the cinematic presentation, acting, and facial animations are top-tier, the story suffers from pacing issues and a controversial design choice: Open Combat Missions. The Good: Makarov is genuinely menacing, and the traditional, linear cinematic missions feature the high-octane set pieces Call of Duty is known for., only the whole minus of this campaign is ending. it has been left off as the most horrible ending call of duty has ever saw in many years, it completly feels unfinished The Another Bad thing about Campaign: The Open Combat Missions feel less like a crafted campaign and more like single-player Warzone matches with bots. They lack the tight scripting that makes CoD campaigns memorable, often making the narrative feel disjointed and rushed. Verdict on Campaign: Visually stunning but narratively underwhelming. It feels more like a bridge to the next game rather than a fully realized standalone story, with a sloppy ending.
Multiplayer: Possibly best multiplayer in the last 8 years?
If the campaign is the low point, the Multiplayer component is where Modern Warfare III truly shines. Sledgehammer Games listened closely to community feedback and delivered a gameplay experience that feels incredibly fast and responsive. The Map Pool: At launch, the game featured all 16 iconic maps from the original 2009 Modern Warfare 2, fully remastered. Maps like Terminal, Highrise, and Rust look beautiful and play exceptionally well with modern mechanics. Movement and Gunplay: Mechanical changes are the real hero here. The return of slide canceling, reload canceling, and the introduction of the Tac-Stance (Tactical Stance) make the movement feel fast, fluid, and smooth to use. Time-to-Kill (TTK): The health pool was increased to 150, resulting in a longer TTK compared to MWII. This rewards consistent tracking and better aim, making gunfights feel much more competitive.
Final verdict and thoughts
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is a game of contrasts. It is hard to ignore that the game initially felt like it was intended to be a massive expansion for its predecessor. However, as a complete package, it functions as a highly polished refinement of the modern CoD formula. If you are buying this solely for a deep single-player story, you might leave disappointed. But if you are a fan of fast-paced multiplayer, nostalgic maps, and cooperative open-world survival, Modern Warfare III is one of the most mechanically satisfying entries in the franchise to date. Final Score: 7.5 / 10
Best multiplayer offering out of all the cross-progression Call of Duty titles.
