About
BrVR Backrooms Virtual Reality
Step into the most comprehensive VR recreation of The Backrooms ever created.
Featuring 120+ authentic levels, 60+ entities, and complete freedom to explore the way you want in true solo isolation.
BrVR delivers the definitive Backrooms experience in virtual reality.
This is not another low‑effort maze game or puzzle‑heavy multiplayer project.
It is a carefully built single‑player survival experience that recreates the strange reality of liminal spaces with atmosphere and depth.
120+ AUTHENTIC LEVELS
Explore the renowned yellow halls of Level 0, the mysterious Poolrooms, Level Fun, and countless other distinctive spaces inspired by established Backrooms lore. The game is currently in Phase 4 of a five‑phase upgrade plan focused on improved graphics, lighting, signage, optimization, new voice work, NPCs and more.
60+ ENTITIES AND CREATURES
Face a wide range of inhabitants, from friendly wanderers to hostile forms. You can fight, flee, build traps, or befriend helpful entities that will follow and assist you.
Don’t like entities in The Backrooms? Just turn them off in the EXTENSIVE settings menu.
TRUE SOLO EXPERIENCE
BrVR is single‑player by design. We believe The Backrooms should convey isolation and unease, so the experience remains purely personal and atmospheric.

VERY FUN SO FAR
It's janky, obviously. It's not as polished as I hoped it would be, but oddly enough, its the best Backrooms game for VR. It's weirdly immersive. Backrooms exploration is cool because you never know what you're gonna find next. This game nails that for me.

This game has so much to offer, plenty of content/levels! Developers responds immediately and are very friendly. There are constant updates for newer levels and quality of life. The controls can be a little tricky in VR, but I say take everything one step at a time. You can explore with or without entities depending on what player you are. Lots of quirky weapons to choose from. For the price, this is a huge bang for your buck.
best vr backrooms game with so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ many levels i been an OG beta tester amazing game icl
In itself, the game is solid and engaging; I like the execution and the fact that it's a survival game that respects the web lore of this creepypasta. I found it frustrating how difficult it is to escape from the entities and that they constantly follow you without giving you a break. Also, I wish there was a multiplayer mode so I could share the game with someone. I don't really enjoy this genre solo, as it gets boring after a while. The idea of interacting and coordinating with a friend sounds very exciting. I refunded the game mainly for this reason, but that doesn't rule out a future purchase. The game is good, but it needs improvement.
Really good game!
Overall, the game is good. However, the amount of storage that this game takes is crazy. 65 GB for a game like this? Now listen, I haven't actually played the entire game, but I just didn't realize that it was going to be this MASSIVE (like the low-taper meme). But as I said, it's a pretty good game overall.
I just wish it had multiplayer
15/10! Amazing devs, perfect game! I would also add that the sheer amount of content makes it worth way more than its listed price. There is so many levels I haven't even gotten to a third of them! They are consistently adding new content and fixing problems. Genuinely, if you have the spare money, I would try this out!
