This is a small game, and probably not for everyone. It is a walking simulator, and it is not scary. It is however very interesting. You get to play through the memory of a person's memory of WW2. It is really a personal game, and story. And it is very nice to be shared such a personal story. There is allot of them out there that will never be told. The gameplay is really slow, but that's how it's meant to be. Developers did a good job with this game, and I liked it.

Brukel is not just a game, it is educational, providing an historical account of WWII as experienced by the dev's grandmother, Bie. The story begins with Bie's recollections of growing up in the Brukel farmhouse with her large family and evolves into her experiences during during WWII as a teenage girl when the war came through her small village and right to her doorstep. In the game, you take photographs with your phone and when the correct objects are photographed, you will hear short audio clips from Bie about the objects and the memories they evoke. The game blends these factual accounts as told by Bie with some psychological horror, including a few supernatural and dreamlike (or nightmare-like) experiences as the author imagines the events described by his grandmother. I enjoyed the game very much and added it to my "Favorites" list.
Deep, profound, frightening experience. Recommended.

Você quer abrir a porta? Gameplay : 2/10 Gráfico: 3/10 Duração: 2/10 Agora uma piada baseado no sistema do jogo... so interesting
An emotionally strong and beautiful game. Like the creator's grandmother, mine too had similar stories from WWII that she narrated for me when I was younger. It was a privilege to be able to go through the stories of Bie in such animated manner. Thank you for this historical and socially important gem!
