About

A fantasy point and click adventure in traditional 1990s style. Dark humour, player choices that have some impact on your outcome and hours of daft shenanigans.
- Over 70 locations from enchanted magical swamps to other worldly 'Dreggs' bakeries
- Thousands of lines of dialogue carefully laced with inane colloquialisms designed
to alienate the games already microscopic target audience
- Original musical score of 30+ compositions from orchestral arrangements
to North East Derbyshire Gangster Rapper: Johhny Tater
- An intriguing story of pilchards, potions and politics truncated with puzzles that
require some thought (or just read the walkthrough I guess)
- Alternate outcomes and wildly varying dialogue based on player choices that will
lead Brownie to greatness or shame, embarrassment and potential CCJs
(county court judgements)

In this hilarious parody adventure set in a vaguely renaissance fantasy world you play as 'Brownie'. Brownie is a sub manager of a local pilchard press in his home town of Schtinkberg. A simple man, in the midst of a mid life crisis. He awakes from a terrible dream featuring his permanently angry boss and a poorly animated unicorn... the rest is up to you.
Follow the twists and turns of Brownie's adventure into our world (Well, Sheffield anyway) and beyond in the funniest and most ridiculous point and click to ever be solo developed by a middle aged hippy burnout. Hours of puzzles and laughs.
Make choices, solve puzzles and enjoy absurd dialogue. Remember: You will be judged!

I do enjoy leaving a trail of destruction and chaos in my wake. Not sure I needed to cause that many deaths, though
Brilliant!!! Love it!!!
I may need to change this review and not recommend, but the few minutes I've played, for a p'n'c that aims to honour the 1990's, but with swears, because we're all adults the now, I'm quite pleased with this acquisition. Aye, aye, some Secret of Monkey Island, but art is much more LeChuck's Revenge. Also, clearly carries the influence, thus far, of Simon the Sorcerer. I did not like StS2, full stop, but pure loved the first one, so I hope Brownie's Adventure stays well away from the stuff that was not especially friendly to non-males and had racist overtones from Simon the Sorcerer 2. Clearly am early doors in this game, less than 15 minutes, but am enjoying the humour, and the folk who've said the humour is weak, I do wonder if they're just US folk, so 1.) struggle with humour that is not US-orientated 2.) are missing the Simon the Sorcerer homage that feeds some of the humour I've seen thus far. Tryna keep it short, b/c verbosity is one of my traits, yes, I recommend, and I do think it's fun and funny thus far. Despite masel being US born/bred/still stuck here, I get UK humour, and usually find it superior to US stuff. Be aware there are lots of swears, though not an issue for me. No C word yet, but there's a slight northern flavour to some of this, so will not be surprised if the C-word suddenly appears. If getting it for a person, ages 10-12, important to know many, many fcuxz, just 12 minutes in, for any parent/guardian or young person trying to steer clear of swearing. Defo a Yes from masel, thus far. SoMI2 reminiscent, and *very* Simon the Sorcerer reminiscent.
