Tear-jerking brotherhood
I like the game but the fact that there are two versions of this game and full functionality (two players mode) is available only in another version is a scam

The game may end, but what it makes you feel, stays with you forever.
--------------------------------- This is a game that I SHOULD have played a long time ago. Initially, I thought Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons was a co-op game, but then I found out that it was actually a "single player co-op", but I didn't have a controller. Now I've had a controller for years and this game was sitting in my backlog. I had no excuse! The game manages to be simple and complex at the same time. At its core, it's "just" an adventure game with a bit of platforming and puzzles. But in reality, the fact that you control the two brothers and how this factors not only into the gameplay, but also into the story, makes this game a truly unique experience. The kind of thing that I really think every gamer should try at least once. The story manages to be interesting and exciting even though the characters don't speak a language that the player can understand. Even so, you can understand their emotions and what each situation wants to convey to the player. In addition to everything, the game has a certain charm and despite its age it is relatively pretty (I don't know why they decided to make the remake, actually I do... $$$), I didn't find any bugs and besides really liking the game I found the achievements really fun to complete.
I bought this game near its launch and have owned it for over 10 years now. I made my initial playthrough all of those years ago but never 100% the achievements. I was scrolling through my library recently and decided to pick this game up once more and fully complete it. The story is absolutely phenomenal, the gameplay is smooth, the puzzles are fun and engaging, overall this game is absolutely delightful. And being able to complete it in about 4 hours start to finish is about perfect for this specific game. It plays more like a movie and 4 hours just works for it. If you are looking for a quick game to play entirely through in one sitting that has an amazing story and engaging gameplay then this one is for you. They did release a "remake" of this game last year that is probably exactly the same just prettier, however I'd argue the original art style and gameplay makes this game much warmer for the heart. However I didn't play the remake so I cannot say that confidently. If you are looking at this game, understand it is so good they literally made a remake for it 11 years later. It IS short, but it is SO good. After a decade I never forgot the original story and playing through it again to 100% completion was a very enjoyable experience. 10/10
Still nostalgic, still fun. Brothers paved the way forward for Josef and it's a great foundation.
Kinda a trigger warning but also a spoiler warning
When I was in middle school this game was out on xbox live and I played it with my closest friend at the time. I don't think there was a way to actually play multiplayer so we both held onto one side of the same controller. I played the younger brother and he played the older (which was a point of contention) cause i'm older. Anyways we played this game to completion and it's something that's stuck with me, I remember most of this game pretty well despite not having touched it in the last 10 years and I think a lot of that was because I played it with my friend and we did it in such an abnormal way. At the end of the game the older brother dies, and that sucked because all of a sudden the game was one player. We didn't spend very much time together in the years following and on my 16th birthday I found out he passed away. So this and his obituary page are the only things I have to remember him. I'm really thankful for this game for giving me that time because my memory of him is stronger because of the time we spent playing this far too short game.
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons — это потрясающее трехчасовое приключение, которого хватает с головой.
