I loved this game so much! It's beautifully written, the story is really interesting and compelling - on top of that, each of the routes offers a distinctly different narrative, so completing the whole game doesn't get repetitive - and the characters are. Just. So. Wonderful. Literally, all of them. Even if they appear only for a little while, they feel fully developed, with solid backgrounds and clear motivations. But what I enjoyed the most is that this game is extremely kind. It shows compassion and empathy for every single one of the characters, even if they are doing something objectively horrible. I mean, well, almost every single one of them. But one cannot have both the most fabulous hair and fair treatment by narrative, can they? The only thing that I didn't enjoy quite as much is that the MC, Poppy, has to go through the full path of her self-discovery in every route, and it goes more or less the same every time. It reads great and compelling on the first playthrough, fine on the second one, but then on the third and fourth you realise that you're about to go through the same lengthy description of struggles of a confused closeted trans woman, and it just gets a bit sad. Like, we already know how it's going to end, but because it's so pivotal for the whole narrative, we just have to buckle up and watch her suffer again. I think it would be great if different routes were to offer her more varying perspectives and unique ways to explore her identity.

This game is so amazing. the art style is beautiful, the romance is amazing and the writing is incredible. Even taking the route i was reluctant to play, I was blindsided by how good it actually was. the translation of the trans experience is really good. I love tf out of this game
It's always nice to see visual novels with unique art styles, and I liked Poppy's paths too! Gallardia and Lantana's routes were my favorites. Recommended if you're looking for a protagonist to root for and/or just a good trans story.
What a journey! I absolutely loved the story, the art, and the characters. This game brings out nuances of topics that can go unnoticed, even by community members. I found the gameplay to be light, your choices really matter, and the romance is good, although it could be explored more.
Nice
oooaohahhgh this game made me cry in a good way, having only played through Rue's route so far...... bless these trans witches.........
This game really made a huge difference for me in affirming my gender as a trans woman. I felt so seen in a way i haven't felt in a very long time. Thank you devs for creating this game. Thank you for reminding me that im good enough to be a woman. Breathless Winds is about a trans women discovering that's she's trans, while falling in love and being accepted with one of four people. She discovers it in different ways each time, and after each path you're left with questions about the state of the island, that you get answered in the next 4 hour playthrough. In that way I was always surprised with something new and no path was identical. The world itself was very interesting and i really liked the lore around the islands and spirits. Other than that it's just a very affirming game made for transgender women. I think they did a fantastic job in communicating what it feels like to be trans/questioning and the relief you find when you figure it out. I think the reason why it's not as popular as similar work, like 'a year of springs' is that the target audience is very specific. Mainly being transgender women, and maybe even mostly bi/pan transgender women. Even with that though, it was still an underrated and strong start for the small indie team, and i can't wait to see what they create next. Reading, watching or playing trans media is so much more important than i thought it was. It can be amazing to experience something directly made for you and not everyone else. Thank you so much for making this game. Im going to play it again on a rainy day to remind myself just how far i've come. If you're a transgender woman / transfem and you like visual novels then i can't recommend it enough!
This is a lovely game. I have played Rue's route so far, it was delightful! I am very much looking forward to playing again and picking another route. The world building is interesting, the art is charming, and I love the music. There's a lot going on, and I found playing this very uplifting. I tried the demo first and I think it gives a great feel for the game, so if you enjoy the demo you'll very likely love the game and find it worth the buy. EDIT: I've now finished all four routes! I wish there were forty more. This was such a lovely experience from start to finish. I wish I could forget and play it all again. 10/10 Lovely characters, super interesting world building.
This game is fantastically written. Heartbreaking and heartwarming all at once, evoking common, real world trans issues cleverly and dealing with them in a manner that shows great empathy. I write this having just completed Rue's route, and will certainly be doing the other three. I believe that more people should play this game, be they trans or not. My only complaints are minor, mainly that I noticed a good few typos, especially as I neared the end of the route. EDIT: Game both got me and my partner together and also convinced them to start HRT, so it has directly impacted our lives positively.
