Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 7 → 1/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.8/day in the week to Jul 20 → 0.83/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

An extremely bare bones port of an excellent game. It's insane to me that a port of a console game doesn't have basic controller support.
Awful port unfortunately. Even at $5 I'd just recommend emulating the game. None of the in game settings stay after closing the game. It does not have proper controller support/key bindings so it'll always show keys regardless. In a game that has a bunch of little mini games it is annoying. Doesn't have any QOL stuff you'd expect (fast forward, sliders, turn off encounters). Has pointless DRM. They eventually patched it but the sprites were messed up at launch also. BOF4 is a good game. This version is trash.

I do not reccomend this game. It's buggy, and crashes all the time. The developers didn't put effort into this Steam port.
No cloud save. Button mapping is awful. You can play this game multiple different ways, including GoG. The Steam experience for this game is poor.
I have mixed reactions to this game: Pros 1. Nostalgic specially if you have played it before. Cons 1. No button mapping, I know you can download custom mapping but it is a annoying to read different buttons on screen vs steam decks buttons. 2. No additional options like faster game speed, faster on screen text, etc. 3. It's like I'm playing of poorly ported emulated game.
Stupid not to turn on cloud saves. Come on guys..
The game crashes when alt-tabbing sometimes. In most games this isn't a huge issue but a crash in an old JRPG can mean the loss of a lot of time.
I want to recommend this game to everyone, but this port is terrible. I started this game on my Steam deck and had no idea that there was no cloud saving. Meaning the only platform I can play this game on without restarting is my steam deck. To add to this this port only has keyboard key bindings and on the steam deck you have to play a guessing game of what button does what. It's a huge inconvenience and I hate that I can't just pick this game up and play without having to re remember what the controls are on my steam deck. I really hope an update or patch is added later down the line but as it is the game is frustrating to play. I do love its aesthetic and the story thus far seems like it's interesting but just very limiting gameplay wise.
Save randomly disappeared. So... have fun with that.
Such good memories and even replaying this game it is still amazing! (Still hoping for a PC release of BoF3 too)
