BrawlQuest is a game about hitting stuff, mining stuff, crafting stuff, building stuff and generally vibing. It's designed around simplicity, and doesn't bother with intrusive micro transactions or subscription models.
Before I played BrawlQuest, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
It's clunky, it's rough and not just on the edges, there are bugs and trees bleed. But I kind of love it. Has a sort of idle game reset mechanic so you can play through many times and improve yourself each time, which you'll need to do if you want any hope of beating bosses. The end game is a slow grind I guess, but the actual content only takes a couple of hours to get through so if determined you could do several run throughs a day. Some of the bosses are evidently designed for party play but you won't find much of that so if you like grinding things out yourself this is a great little time waster.

This game stuck in place. It's hosted literally on the potatoes - 5 players is enough to skyrocket the ping to unplayable levels. In 2022. Yeah. It has a lot of potential but the dev pretty much abandoned the project. I tested the game early, then played some time in June. Since June, nothing changed. Dev just fixed the boats that were working fine in the beta, then he broke them in 1.0 release. Most of the stuff is still broken anyway so just don't waste your time and skip this project. Maybe next year. And btw. Don't take my in-game time as any determinant. Most of that time was just talking with people in the "world chat" while waiting for the game to become playable again.
I will say it is a fun little game with more content and depth than you would think
After 100 sever connection attempts it Never Connects!!!!!!!
Still pretty rough; among the small things like trees bleeding when you hit them and destroying my healing pears because the controls were being wonky, there are larger issues that still have to be worked on. Namely, the loading times of each area. I had 60 FPS and everything seemed to be working well, but the game loaded areas so slowly that I was being murdered by invisible spiders and dogs. The game knew they were there, but I didn't, which got me into a few hairy situations early on when I actually walked through an entire area at level 3 with full health and only when I got to the dead end did the very strong enemies all appear and begin to attack me. Needless to say, I died and became a ghost for a time. I'm not sure if it's on purpose or not, but the enemies continue to hurt you even when you get very far away from them. I wasn't sure if this was supposed to be a bleed mechanic, but it stopped when I went back into the tutorial town so that's what I kept doing when I'd get overrun with spiders and dogs and bandits. Along with the loading issue comes the issue where you can't even hit the enemies about 50% of the time. I came across a problem where a lot of times, it would mark the wrong enemy and aggro new enemies while I was busy with the first one. Overall, it's a cute little game, and I'd like to come back to it again and give it another shot, but those glaring issues gotta be fixed first because they make it very frustrating and difficult to play. The thing is, I was the only person playing, so what would happen if I tried to bring a few of my friends in or something? It just doesn't seem like some things are ready, and that's okay, the devs said that it's a work-in-progress, so I look forward to seeing what happens with it. As is, I wouldn't recommend it, but it have potential so I'd like to be able to change this review in the future.
The game seems buggy for me and I keep dying in unexplained ways. It starts when I venture out into the combat area to the west. I start bleeding randomly even though I see nothing attacking me or no mobs around. Sometimes mobs will kind of appear and then disappear so I don't know if there is some kind of server sync issue? But I played this game both recently and a few months ago and had the same problem. So for me it's unplayable...
Игра в целом прикольная, только нужно проработать несколько тем, а так в целом задумка прикольная
Another realesed unplayable game. Game design were better 22 years ago. I know people still like pixelart style, i myself like it too, but gameplay is so terrible, servers so laggy, hard to find anything that might be fun in this game.
