After a long wait, I am happily surprised. I wasn't expecting such quality. A really good point and click adventure game. I've grown fond of the characters. The Voice acting is great. I like that some mixed european voiceactors, where chosen. Manfred from Hamburg is the greatest :). The puzzles weren't too difficult. The start was motivating and the puzzles became more challenging towards the end. The Game is too cheap for what it is. I think with the updates (see below), a price of 25,00 Euros to 30,00 Euros would be fair. There are two things I would like to see in an update: The language is sometimes too quiet here I would appreciate a final mixing. I would like to be able to control the volume of the speech independently of the sound effects. Two bugs needed to fix: When saving in front of the palace with Pascal's voice box activated, nothing could be controlled or clicked on when loading the game state. Earl Greys Mouth moves in the bathroom, while Pola is speaking. ------- Nach langer Wartezeit bin ich freudig überascht. Ich habe nicht mit einer solchen Qualität gerechnet. Ein richtig gutes Point and Click Adventure.

Overall this is one I do recommend. The English is rough at bits, sometimes the voice actors don't match the text and sometimes the text includes stage directions (rare tho). There are glitches and locks. You can save mid dialog but DON'T! Save before it. If you are stuck in a dialogue and having to make a choice or something and want to save, load an auto save first where you are sure you can click around and aren't mid conversation. Some very clever puzzles that I really loved (point and click ones). There's a sadly repetitive and quite bugged rotate the wires puzzle that 90% of the time is auto solved by clicking the first circle. There is a little variety tho like the keycard puzzle that I quite liked and worked well and a cog puzzle and one involving a shield and tapestry (tho that one mystified me so I just brute forced it). The most impressive puzzle is at the end tho and I highly recommend playing the game twice so you can make other choices. The endings are the same but the dialogue at the end is different.
"Brassheart" is a game of layers. It’s instantly and obviously brilliant on the surface, but just below that veneer are enough minor glitches, bugs and mistakes to take off some of the shine. Fortunately, beneath those are lots of fun character interactions and puzzles to make it well worth looking past its shortcomings. The story is interesting enough to keep you entertained, and the gameplay experience is classic point-and-click adventuring but with a thoroughly modern hi-definition look. It would be even better with a bit more polish, which prevents me from giving it a higher rating it would otherwise completely deserve. But I very much appreciate what it’s trying to do and believe most adventure fans will have fun accompanying Pola and Pascal on their world-saving journey. https://adventuregamehotspot.com/review/4171/brassheart
The game was kind of short and the puzzle side was not that hard, overall a 7/10.
A very pleasent and challenging game. The puzzles are demanding and require creativity, but they don't become tiring. Sometimes you have to look at the task from a different perspective and find a surprising solution. This is a cool aspect of the game. I really like the visuals, the graphics are comic book-like in the style of the best European series. The whole story is interesting and has surprising angles, and the characters also have their own cool perks. As for the minuses - I think that each scene could be a bit larger, offer more places to check, and the scale of the characters could be different - the characters could be smaller and the objects and scenography larger. Overall - GREAT! I RECOMMEND!
This was a quite decent Deponia-like (in art style) classic P&C with good invetory puzzles and decent voice acting. Hopefully the studio creates more games of similar style and quality.
det var et godt spil lidt nemt
Ok, I just finished the whole game so I can give my review of it. Overall it is a great adventure game, that has to be said. The point and click genre has no gems like this released every year so I would consider playing this one a must-play for any fan of adventure games P&C. The plot is great and unique in the genre, the story mixes elements from history with some futurist elements, this is kind of a blend of tons of influences. Everything is hand drawned and well animated. Very thin pixels, UHD. Really pleasant to the eye. The illustrators really gave some life and personality to the characters and they are numerous in this adventure. The voice overs are professional and great quality. I could not enjoy the music of the game at the same time for a SFX problem that is being worked on at the time of this review. But it did not deter me from finishing this great game, it was much fun to play through. I don't want to spoil at all so I won't say anything about the story but you'll visit various cool locations. One small drawback is that you feel that sometimes the time spent in the locations is a bit short and the story is a bit rushed, a bit abrupt in its transitions. The difficulty is medium-average, for purists it may be classified as "easy"... there is no "moonlight logic", vicious, hardcore or stupid try hard puzzles which was a relief (not like in Deponia Series). It is really story oriented and not too much puzzle oriented. By the way there is few inventory items combination puzzles which is a good new and makes it more straightforward. Everything is quite logic and falls into piece smoothly. Usually I skip a lot of dialogues in P&C but this one kept me hooked and I read a lot of the plot. A illustrated journal is added to back the progression and give you complementary story information. I still heavily needed a walkthrough to finish it. As usual with point and Clicks. The hint system resides in a robot Pascal that you can ask location hints or objectives hints, which is more than welcome albeit you have to use your brain because it never gives the full solution...just a hint.Note that puzzles are not skippable but not hard in their resolution, albeit a bit repetitive (like in "Elroy and the Aliens) The mechanics of the game are plain simple and well optimized. TAB key highlights the items you can interact with. The moving of the character is not too slow albeit there is no "teleportation on click". The game avoids the ruthless and useless back-and-forth that you find in too many P&C. It is pretty straightforward. Duration is solid for a game of this genre. I rushed it in 5 hours, which is a lot, you can double this time if you do not cheat or skip dialogs. But it doesn't come close, in duration, to the crazy "Deponia" series or "3 minutes to Midnight" or Pendulos Studio which are much longer in comparison or other Daedelic titles that can sometimes feel never-ending. Ok verdict: 8/10. In my TOP 5 of all times for its stories, characters and design. 8.5/10 when they fix the SFX bug. I hope this studio will continue creating Point and Click games because they excell at it. Thank you to all the people who created this.
