Border of her Heart

Buggy on WIndows 10. Settings bugged. Fullscreen option does not save. Even with Instant text (default), only part of the text is instant. Sound seems partially bugged with the global voice control not seeming to work properly (seems to be overriden by individual voices instead of multiplied). Clicking choices is buggy and sometimes does not work. Mouse cursor switches between system and game. Long black screen transitions with no visible way to speed up transitions. Saving/loading can be difficult because sometimes the text takes priority over the menu options. Dropping the game because with how the game is, it is more effort to play than it is worth. While some of these bugs may be a result of the engine used to create the game rather than being the dev's fault, those bugs still affect gameplay.

I have enjoyed my time with this game. It's sort of bitter sweet, because this VN is actually a lot of fun, but it DESPERATELY needs more polish. It needs some tlc. It needs someone who actually cares to take the time to iron out the kinks, which is what you do when you actually care about and believe in a project. There's a great game here that never quite received the love that it deserved from the people that birthed it. And, just on the off chance that you care about such things, it would have made the devs a lot more money if the love had been given. You get out what you put in. You reap what you sow. Do better.
