The flight controls are terrible, not fun to play in any shape or form. The game takes too much time to load and all the maps and missions are empty spaces with only your objective in it. It's so boring, don't waste your money.
Its a nice intro to flight sims, with a responsive dev team and straightforward gameplay. There's nothing in here for hardcore flight sim players, but I'd recommend it for people who have never played a flight sim and are interested in trying it out. Very arcadey. Look for it on sale.

I'd thought about getting this game for a while having had my curiosity piqued by rumours is was Crimson Skies-esque, but I was also somewhat put off by the mixed reviews. In the end I got it on sale, and I have to say I have enjoyed the experience. My first impressions weren't great, the game could use some more optimisation, there's the odd issue with the view clipping into things (mainly the seat in the seaplane), the lack of voice acting gives the tendency to skip over the dialogue, which made the writing come across poorly at first, not half due to the typos... But once I really sat down and gave it a chance, I really started to get into it (getting my joystick set up helped a little). I came to like the characters, I REALLY liked the second aircraft you get, and the humour was good enough for my tastes. The game could definitely use some polish, more planes, cockpits for all of them, etc. But the core of the game is there and it has its charm. The flight model strikes a good balance I feel, being realistic enough to sate the pedant in me, but arcadey enough to let you think solely about the fight. The overall effect was really just to inflate my opinion of my flying skills, which is about the best a game like this can do, and what War Thunder fell short of for me. The (British) price of £5.59 works out at just SLIGHTLY over a pound per hour based on my Campaign (5.4 hours), which is my method for determining whether playtime was long enough for the money, so it's acceptable. I'd have liked it to be longer. I'd have liked some customisation. But I had a jolly good romp nevertheless, and I would buy this game again.
So I tried to give this a chance after seeing that it had been updated a few times since I gave up on it. Big mistake! This game still sucks the big one. The main issue is the flight physics. It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ground is your worst enemy because your plane handles like paper plane with weights on its wings. When rolling it handles like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stunt plane but pitching, turning and yawing, it's like the most incomprehensibly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ ever. I don't think I've ever managed to reliably hit anything in this game. If I actually do frag someone, it's pure luck. I'm pretty damn familiar with flight sims in general, btw. Many of the assets just look unfinished. It's a pretty looking game most of the time, but the menus and writing and everything else is just lazy or, you know, UNFINISHED. Why does the yaw analog controls act so freaking broken. It's hard to explain but it's jerky and doesn't work right at all. And it's just yaw that doesn't work. You can't bind analog triggers or anything to buttons, which is something a few other games does as well despite that being rather silly. I'm using pedals for thrust and want to use my brake pedal as airbrake, but nope! Go play Crimson Skies. ♥♥♥♥ this ♥♥♥♥. I'm so pissed off about this mess. How could they release this in this state and why do some people speak positively about it? It's unfinished and unplayable. Don't be fooled. This ♥♥♥♥ sucks really bad.
Setting up the controls can be tricky, but once done, it's a very fun game. It reminds me of Crimson Skies. This game is well worth the price.
Fun flight sim thats easy to get into. Great mix of realism and arcade-style feel to it and a decent storyline. Scenery is beautiful, effects are good, some very cool looking airplanes as well. Kind of reminds me Crimson Skies. Well worth getting.
I peggiori controlli di sempre, assenza totale di divertimento e una grafica mediocre, a volergli fare un complimento. Meglio reinstallarsi Crimson Skies. Per saperne di più: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZ6lAI7JhGU
jeux difficile à mettre en application
First 2 hours was very fun. Then it all went downhill. Second area didnt want to load at all and kept crashing. causing me to keep redoing the mission "invasion" for a chance of it working. After a while it did load the second area. But i was in some sort of spectator mode. Its good and fun. But it sadly stopped working for me.
The final game has improved a lot since the beta release. The joystick controls now work fine and it does not crash my computer. This attempts to have the charm of Crimson Skies. By todays standards, the graphics are a bit dated, and it is not as fun as the original Crimson skies. But I do find it amusing and playable. I think if you set your expectations this is a reasonable value. I am glad the development team finished the project.
