Do you hate having time to dedicate to your other hobbies? Are you an unemployed, single person with far too much time on your hands? Do you like pretending to be better than others because you have the time and patience to grind RNG for hours to solve the grade-school level puzzles? Then boy do I have a game for you! A relatively interesting idea involving exploring a manor to find Room 46 will slowly turn into a torturous hellscape of RNG where puzzle answers become amazingly obvious but the ability to solve them is locked behind finding the specific tool to do so! Play as Simon Jones. A young boy whose parents are both neglectful over-privileged aristocrats who's just inherited the family mansion - a seemingly functionless house that has all the lore of having been the seat of a family's power with none of the practical ability or indication that it could possibly be. Enjoy re-treading the same ten rooms over and over as you desperately wait for the gods of RNG to give you the one little thing you need to get to room 46 so you can begin the real game. Walk through the same halls you've seen before while examining small cracks for dropped coins and keys all the while you wonder "Why has no one tried to kidnap the helpless heir apparent to this wealthy house?" Dig into a story that will leave you thinking: "All this for a HAT?! I'm too American and poor to care about ANY of these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!" Which is a spoiler on MULTIPLE levels, but given that it won't make sense unless you've actually finished the game: I don't care! Watch two completely contradictory game genres butt against each other and crash mixing the worst of puzzle games and the absolutely mind-bending miasma of roguelite RNG as you pray to see the Workshop and the Boiler Room on the same map just once in your life. Then go online for help and watch as insufferable, condescending ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who got lucky on their first go and drafted the Tomb on Day 1 tell you that "there are ways to offset the RNG." What they won't tell you is that those are also locked behind RNG. If you're a contributing member of society, give this one a skip. Great idea. Terrible execution.
"What a fun little puzzle game" I said to myself before falling into a rabbit hole the size of the Mariana Trench and being consumed
If you have time restrictions of any sort in your life, don't bother.
Fascinating multiple generations, our family got to spend many fulfilling hours of puzzling joy with this lovely game. The puzzles are incredibly deep, layered, multi-faceted, and various, and players always have just the right amount of goals to pursue. We highly recommend. Playing in a pair of two will help you find a new clue, too. Many thanks, Tonda, for this extraordinary game.
People have been reporting a specific bug with the UI disappearing after a certain action for over a year and it's still present in the game. When the game is based on RNG it can set you back days if you have to quit out because of a bug that should have been fixed months ago. If you need an idea as to how helpful the developers are, look at the game's community forum where there's a pinned post of known issues that are being actively worked on, and you'll see it was last updated in April 2025. It's really difficult to write this review because this is one of the best, and worst, games I've ever played.
Um dos melhores jogos já feitos na história
why ... everything ... has ... to ... be ... *so* ... SLOOooo..... . . ......ooooOOOWWWWW!?...
A gambling game falsely marketed as a puzzle game. Buy it at only above 75% sale if you are interested in gambling, it's not worth whole price. Everything in this game is based on random chance, puzzles don't make any sense, some of them are random words, even if you are an English speaker it won't make sense. The goal is to reach a stupid room 46 so you will inherit the whole manor, but it's a frustrating convoluted mess. I think the people who designed this game knew that their puzzles are idiotic, so they came up with the stupid idea of limited footsteps each day, keys and jewels to unlock the doors even then you could end up with a dead end, just so you could play it pointlessly all over again.
I liked it at first but then the RNG gets annoying
