About

The vast island of Hedera has burned away. As they always do, the Pouics awaken to make it bloom again. But they cannot do it alone.
As the Guardian, guide these curious, naïve little creatures across a devastated land. Protect them from the terrain, from corruption, and sometimes from themselves. In BloomKeeper, bringing life back is only part of the journey. You must also keep the ashes from reclaiming what you have restored.
Every step forward transforms the landscape. Every restored area becomes a refuge. But beyond it, the world is still burning.

The Pouics are precious, fragile, and essential to your progress. Gather them, keep them together, and lead them to the key points of each level. As your colony grows, the land blooms beneath your steps, but keeping everyone together becomes a greater challenge.
A single well-placed Pouic can open the way forward. A large colony can save you precious time, or slip into chaos in a single moment of inattention.
Cliffs, lakes, natural hazards, and forces that draw in or scatter your colony shape every move you make. Read the terrain, react quickly, and keep the Pouics safe all the way to the source of the blight.

In BloomKeeper, the world does not wait patiently to be healed. Scorched zones spread constantly across each level, and their reach intensifies as you draw closer to their source. You will need to decide when to push forward, when to secure an entire area, and when to take the time to restore the land so the scorched zones do not spread behind you.
Each region presents a choice. Do you rush toward the objective with a large colony, risking a situation that is hard to control? Or do you secure your progress step by step to keep the ashes from reclaiming the ground behind you?
The terrain itself can become an ally. Used wisely, the environment can slow the spread and offer lasting shelter to the lands you have already saved.

Losing Pouics does more than slow your progress. If they become corrupted, they give rise to Malpouics, who spread the scorched zones and threaten to pull the whole journey into an even more dangerous spiral.
The more the world is allowed to decay, the harder your mission becomes. Protecting your colony, preserving your sources of life, and containing corruption are all part of the same fight.
Here, every loss darkens the landscape you are trying to save. But by keeping your colony united and reclaiming the land step by step, you can turn the tide and restore the world’s vitality.

In solo play, BloomKeeper offers an immersive, contemplative adventure where every movement matters and your bond with the Pouics grows step by step.
In co-op for up to 4 players, the adventure takes shape through coordination, awareness of one another, and the ability to guide the Pouics together through the unexpected.
Alone or with friends, each way of playing reveals a different facet of the same journey. Observe, adapt, and lead your small group to the burning rock at the heart of the disaster to breathe life back into the world.

Because the spread of the scorched zones evolves according to your progress, each run can unfold differently.
BloomKeeper blends exploration, guiding and managing your Pouics, real-time tactical decisions, and the joy of watching nature return little by little before your eyes. Every choice of route, protection, and regrowth changes how the land evolves, reshapes your priorities, and allows replayability.
As you progress, the regions of Hedera change their face, and your path changes with them. Bring life back to the world. Protect what can still be saved. And keep the ashes from taking it all back.

Bloomkeeper, where do I start? This is a fun, cosy game where you loosely control your Pouics, adorable single-brain-celled seedlings. Your mission is to guide and toss them around to create paths through the ashes and gloom that are taking over the forest. At first, I found the camera angle a bit steep, but I quickly adjusted. After an hour and a half and roughly six levels, I can confidently say there is still plenty to explore, about 25 levels in total. For the price, this game offers plenty of engaging gameplay. The difficulty settings range from chaotic to cosy and easy. One feature I haven't tested yet is the co-op mode, which I think could make it easier to wrangle your lil seedlings and more enjoyable. I would recommend picking this up with a friend to help reclaim the forest!
This is fun. Terrain terraforming land control. Less Pikmin "You are the commander of your troops" and more "Herder trying to wrangle crew in the right way". Honestly, the game this reminds me the most is the Creeper World series because your enemy acts more like fluid dynamics (fire) than a more traditional enemy. Your Pouic-dudes do a great job of spreading out and putting themselves where they're needed. Mostly. I did have a couple levels where I knew what I needed to do, had the forces to do it, but took an annoying amount of time to get them there from the imprecision of your "nudge". Many times I found myself wishing I had Captain Olimar's whistle just to gather up all these adorable little bastards. Visually, it's great. Really spectacular bringing back life to a burned out world. Curious for what the rest of the game looks like after my first couple hours.
