Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 29 → 4.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Yeah no this game is not for me. False advertisement. Entire game is based on if you have enough blood in your blood meter to do anything at all. Fail to pick up blood - die Fail to kill enemy - Die Fail to get blood - Die You'll spend most the time trying to get a hang of the controls, and then timing for key presses to navigate through the levels at a fast pace, lose that pace and you can't keep progressing OH OH and you wanted to play it because you heard the word "PARKOUR"?? Parkour? There is none. This isn't parkour. This game features NO PARKOUR. Or not what you would think when it comes to parkour. Instead you have what you see in the trailer, fast pace surfing mechanics, floor sliding. Wall running? oh it's a joke. You run forever. Think Surf + grapple hook + sliding and a sword on blood time limit. Fail to get the blood and navigate level before blood runs out. You lose .That's this game. If you don't want to feel like every thing you are doing is on a timer, or every action feels like it has a consequence you can't come back from with out restarting the level from scratch, stay away from this game.
Addictive, Verging on Mental Illness

Leaderboards and Gameplay Loop
SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!!! This game is all about its movement tech, which is beyond excellent. Its absolute best asset, however, is its leaderboards, which are brilliantly executed and something that many games get wrong. Bloodthief has a system where you can view the ghosts of players who are within a couple of seconds of you on the global leaderboard. This leads to an addictive loop of starting a new map, theorycrafting a route, then grinding that route to reduce your time. This lets you view more players ghosts and get even more ideas for improving your own route. Eventually, you'll stumble on some truly mad tech, the kind of movement tech that, in most games, would be reserved for only the most autistic of speedrunners. But in Bloodthief youre be the autistic speedrunner. I've spent about 10 hours just on the first two levels alone. I have 24 hours total, and I haven't even finished half the maps or tried any of the other weapons yet beyond the starting weapon. I've found myself so focused on this game that I forget to blink. In the last update, the dev, in his divine wisdom, improved the leaderboards even further. You can now split the leaderboards out by weapon. The weapons affect the movement tech and, therefore, how fast you can go and how to route each map. In the past, many of the top spots were taken by particular weapons, which could be frustrating for anyone trying to run with a different one, but not any longer. Suddenly discovering that you have a top 10 time is like crack. The hook is that if your time was set on an earlier update, you have to get that time again on the new update for it to show on the leaderboard, which gets you straight back on the grind.
Stutter Struggle?
Nope. This game could run on a potato.
Linux Experience
You won't need to trawl through ProtonDB for this one. It just works. No tweaks, no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
It's quite fun, although I like the movement far more than the combat. I think if it had been more of a platformer I might have liked it much more. The combat is well implemented for what it is, but I'm just not sold on the idea of a melee quakelike. The most fun the combat got for me was when the game gave you a ranged weapon lmao. I love the art style, and the music is great too. I ovbviously loved the levels where movement was more important the most; there are some really nice levels in there. Levels where you have to fight a lot were miserable for me unless the game gave you a ranged weapon, then they were actually rather fun. The story was quite meh for me, but then again Quake's story is only fun for me because it leans into Lovecraftian elements so I'd say Bloodthief earns a solid 'alright.' The secrets were really fun to discover, and I want to say again just how much fun the movement was. I hate invisible walls a lot, so this game's complete lack of them was so nice. If you have the money and like fast movement in games then give this game a shot, but it's not a must by in my opinion.

It has parries, need i say more?
This is definitely one of my favourite games to just pick up and play on my ones, it's engaging to learn the layout of levels and what tactics work best for it and it's satisfying to breeze through them after perfecting it. I enjoy the simple graphics (I'm sure my PC does too) as it means there's no needless visuals getting in the way while it's still able to look good, and the medieval vibe is just friggen tuff I can't not love it. I highly recommend this, I was a little sceptical of buying it since the demo seemed to already give me enough content but the full game is full of much more levels. I will say some of the levels don't feel as thought out as others do, like you wont be able to use a lot of your abilities and are stuck to walking through them, but the good levels (which are the majority) and very fun and only get more repayable as you try to beat either your own or your friends time.
