About
Blast Course is a first-person puzzle-platformer centered around the classic game mechanic of Rocket Jumping. Control Kit in a day at work testing "Hyperboom", a revolutionary transport technology based on explosives. Overcome four different levels with the help of your own "Hyperboom" and its set of modifications while testing the viability of this new product.
This game is, in a way, intended as a love letter to kinesthetic gameplay, exemplified through the possibility of combining complex movements with just one singular tool, bringing rocket jumping to the spotlight.
The goal of this game is to design rocket jumping from the ground up, bringing home its most engaging aspects, whilst streamlining it for a modern audience by getting rid of unnecessary complexities and making it more intuitive and less fiddly.
By conceiving complex jumps and maneuvers not as a test of skill, but as a solution to a puzzle, we can create levels that are potentially more complex, with more flexible pacing, and that put less pressure on players.

pure kino, first run took me a little bit over 2 hours second run 17 minutes my pb is like 16 rn
If you are a pro TF2 player and know all about rocket jumping and the like I highly recommend this.

A pretty good game but very short
Took a bit of getting used to for me at first. Don't go into it expecting Source/TF2 like movement and air strafing. Once I got over the learning curve, it's actually a really fun short puzzle game with a heavy focus on explosion jumping, which I love. It inspires me to continue working on my own game projects!
Pretty good game, although I was stuck in some parts. First playthrough took me over 2 hours. The second one, over 20 minutes. Overall good game to chill out if you know the paths.
