For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game looked very promising, but I was left disappointed. I only played the first map for both Point Capture and Elimination gamemodes and no further because the game autofills your username to the name of whatever device you are playing from, which is a HUGE security risk and for that alone I cannot recommend this game. You cannot change your username either, I checked the entire settings menu. I learned it used your device name when I died and it was broadcasted, thankfully the lobby is just full of bots, but still, this feature is a MASSIVE security risk for players and it isn't funny. I did change my device name so it wouldn't broadcast my name and rather my online pen name when I tried Elimination. The game is ok, it automatically puts all the visual graphics on the highest setting which makes it a buggy mess, and I had to turn them all the way down to the lowest to be able to play. Also the game allows you to connect a controller, I personally recommend you don't, because the game will become so laggy it's unplayable. The quick scroll completely misses your weapon in your second slot, the guns are janky and don't feel smooth to fire; though the avatars are really cool they blend into the environment I oftentimes found myself aiming in the direction bullets were coming from rather than at actual people. The dash is really cool l. I never found it worth trying the melee because the bots auto-hit whenever they shoot so best stay away, and the greneades are terrible. They stick to wherever they land and are practically useless---it's just better to use the gun and dash. I wish you fould passively regain health, the only way to do so is to find medpacks on the map in their set spawn, but everyone needs those and there are only 4 and you're lucky if you get it before a bot. The maps are the same for both gamemodes as well, but to be honest I couldn't tell where the points were in Point Capture, I just followed my bot teammates. I wished to give the game a longer chance, but the security risk with it broadcasting my device name is not worth more playtime. I wish the devs luck though, definitely a solid foundation for a shooter game present. (Edits are for grammar, apologies I posted this review after midnight)
Warning: AI Slop This game marketing materials are talentless, soulless AI generated content.

Warning: Asset Flip!
Blackstrike Protocol is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Paulo Vitor de Almeida, took the Necropolis Graveyard Kit game assets from the real developers, Cryptic Realms, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. Now... I highlighted that asset because it's been plagiarized by DIG Games/Tero Lunkka so you can clearly see the same asset: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4386270/Worm_in_horror_place/ See? Same asset. But really this is a selection of 4 stolen/plagiarized asset packs, dropped on a basic Unreal shooter game template, with stolen/plagiarized character assets. Here's a list of some of the other stolen/plagiarized assets so you can see for yourself:

"Abandoned Factory Buildings" from Scans Factory
"Downtown West Modular Pack" from PurePolygons
"Military Training Facility" from Dekogon Studios
"Sci Fi Character 08 (Renegade)" from Bugrimov Maksim
"Sci Fi Troopers Collection" from ProMaxx Studio
"Sci Fi Trooper Girl v1" from ProMaxx Studio
"Sci Fi Trooper Girl v2" from ProMaxx Studio
"Sci Fi Trooper Man v1" from ProMaxx Studio
Nothing in this garbage is the creation of the "developer". It's a fake game. The guy raided the asset store, shoved the assets in a blender, and dumped it on Steam Direct to try get YOUR money for someone else's game assets. The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Necropolis" is just a basic asset pack with a Necropolis scene, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game. It's just a minimum viable product, just enough to get through the non-existent quality control on Steam Direct. Not a real game. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 140,000+ games on Steam? Blackstrike Protocol has the almost unethical price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. For comparison, the $5 asking price for this game could get you games like "Frostpunk", "Killing Floor 2" or "Total War Shogun II". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 130 million gamers on Steam and well over 140,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. The funny part about that is that this is an 8 player PvP arena shooter... so it NEVER got played with full teams. That's because gamers despise asset flips and avoid them like the plague. And you should, too! The quality problems and defects with this game makes the asking price totally unrealistic. It's impossible to recommend this to gamers here on Steam, especially considering the unethical stuff going on. Because this is just a fake game/cash grab scam, and due to the sheer unethical nature of the developer, you should avoid this completely. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Paulo Vitor de Almeida. The use of AI slop is a direct insult to gamers and real, ethical content creators and artists everywhere. AI models are trained on copyrighted intellectual property without permission from the owners. Using AI slop in a published product should be seen as supporting these copyright violations.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
