I know you won't like it but this game needs a little more work!

Yes it's a very good concept especially since it's free! But I found bugs that really ruin your experience! For example after I built the stadium I wanted to upgrade it to build "east stands"..... but unfortunately the game froze the tutorial! The game's freeze also affected the arrows that direct you to upgrade the next thing! and in many situations they remained stuck on the screen! trying to direct you in a direction that wasn't exactly coherent! Buen potencial
Very lagging, and alot of crash.
injugable desde escritorio
The game is broken on Linux on many levels. First, the game didn't even start because it couldn't find its own executable file. I had to find it myself and rename it. Then, The game kept getting stuck during the tutorial. First while building the east stadium, then while selecting my star player, then training. I had to force quit the game each time to be able to move forward. I decided to "SKIP" the tutorial but it somehow returned to it and got stuck again. I wasn't able to click anything. The arrow and highlighted parts where I was supposed to click didn't do anything. I don't know if this is a Linux problem and I couldn't even see how the actually game play is like but I can't recommend the game in its current state.
Новый взгляд на футбольный менеджер. Интересно, но зайдет не всем.
Blackout Football Manager is a football management simulation built around the idea of creating a club, developing its players, and competing against teams controlled by other managers. Developed and published by Blackout Games, it takes the managerial formula into a persistent online environment where success is determined less by direct control of footballers and more by preparation, tactical choices, recruitment, training, and long-term investment. Rather than overwhelming players with every administrative detail imaginable, the game concentrates primarily on decisions that influence how a club develops and performs. At the center of the experience is squad management. Every footballer possesses a collection of physical and mental attributes that helps determine where that player belongs within a team. This gives managers reasons to look beyond simple overall strength when assembling their starting lineup. A talented player may still be unsuitable for a particular tactical approach, while a seemingly less impressive footballer can become valuable when his characteristics complement the formation being used. Constructing a balanced squad consequently becomes one of the game's most important strategic challenges. Training expands this idea by allowing managers to customize how their players develop. Instead of improvement being completely automatic, training regimes can be adjusted according to the needs of the club. A manager building a team around a particular philosophy can concentrate development on qualities that support that strategy. This gives player progression a welcome connection to tactical planning because developing footballers is not simply about making their statistics larger. It is also about creating the kind of squad required to execute a preferred style successfully. Tactics naturally play a major role. Managers can organize formations, choose their lineup, determine who remains among the substitutes, and prepare strategies for upcoming opponents. The ability to study another team and adjust accordingly is especially significant because Blackout Football Manager emphasizes competition against human managers. A strategy that performs well against one opponent may not be appropriate against another, encouraging players to remain flexible instead of relying permanently on a single formation. This makes preparation an important part of the competitive experience. One feature that distinguishes the game from more conventional football management simulations is its card-based activity system. Cards are connected to daily management actions and can provide useful boosts depending on how they are employed. The mechanic creates an additional element of prioritization because managers must consider where their attention and available advantages will have the greatest effect. Preparing specifically for an important fixture might be more valuable at one moment, while emphasizing training or another aspect of club development may provide greater benefits at another. Recruitment provides another essential piece of the managerial puzzle. When weaknesses appear within the squad, managers can search for footballers capable of filling those gaps through scouting and the game's player market. Transfers therefore become part of the broader process of shaping a team rather than an isolated feature. Contract negotiations are presented in a relatively streamlined fashion, preventing recruitment from becoming unnecessarily tedious while still requiring players to consider whether potential signings are worthwhile. The game's economic structure follows a similarly accessible philosophy. Club finances matter because resources ultimately determine what can be developed or acquired, but much of the routine financial administration is handled by the board. This allows managers to spend more time deciding how money should be invested rather than performing mundane accounting tasks. Choosing between squad improvements, facilities, and other forms of development still carries strategic consequences, preserving the importance of financial planning without making bookkeeping the primary attraction. Infrastructure adds considerable depth to long-term progression. Managers can improve and customize facilities while working through extensive technology trees. These systems provide goals beyond simply winning the next match. Investing in the club can produce advantages that become more meaningful over time, encouraging players to think beyond immediate results. Someone aggressively pursuing short-term squad strength may therefore develop differently from a manager willing to sacrifice immediate improvements in exchange for stronger infrastructure. Blackout Football Manager is fundamentally designed as an online experience. Competition against real managers gives its systems additional significance because every opponent can potentially approach team building differently. Human-controlled clubs can develop unusual formations, specialize in different strengths, and react to previous results. The asynchronous nature of the multiplayer environment also fits the genre well, since football management is primarily about making thoughtful decisions rather than possessing quick reflexes. Players can prepare their clubs and then see whether those decisions translate into success. The persistent multiplayer approach does create an important distinction from traditional single-player football management games. Anyone primarily interested in controlling a club through an isolated career against computer-controlled opponents may find the structure less suitable. Blackout Football Manager instead appeals to players who enjoy gradually strengthening an organization while measuring their progress against a wider community. Its longevity is therefore closely connected to the satisfaction of persistent development and online competition. Presentation is largely functional, emphasizing the information required to understand players, tactics, facilities, training, and club progression. This is appropriate for a management title, where readable interfaces and useful information are generally more important than elaborate visual spectacle. The game's modest hardware demands and availability across Windows, macOS, and Linux also make it relatively accessible to players using different computer configurations. A broadband internet connection is naturally essential because online interaction forms such a significant part of the experience. The free-to-play structure further reduces the barrier to entry, although the presence of in-game purchases and chance-based purchases deserves consideration. Monetization can have a noticeable influence on any persistent competitive game, particularly when progression and resources are involved. Players who prefer completely premium management simulations may therefore approach this model cautiously. Much of the game's long-term appeal depends on whether progression continues to feel satisfying without requiring players to rely heavily on optional spending. Blackout Games has created a management experience that favors accessibility without eliminating strategic depth. It will be most attractive to football fans interested in persistent online competition, squad construction, tactical experimentation, player development, and gradual club expansion. The multiplayer dependence and free-to-play monetization will not suit everyone, but the underlying management systems provide plenty of opportunities for meaningful decision-making. Rating: 7/10
