Horrible game; clunky controls and menus.
Read about language problem (you dont have access to every language on every region) that this game has before downloading i didnt have access to eng language & downloaded 70 gig for nothing F... Shame because i really liked the combat...

very fun combat and flow
poor game
I went into Black Desert Online expecting another “grindy MMO” and came out with a love‑hate relationship: the combat and world hooked me hard, but the systems and pacing sometimes made it feel more like a part‑time job than a game. What I actually loved The action combat is still the best I’ve played in an MMO. Combos, dodges, guards, and class‑specific mechanics make fighting feel skillful and satisfying, even when I’m just clearing mobs in a grind spot. I also really like that I can set my own goals. If I don’t feel like grinding AP, I can fish, sail, trade, or work my node/worker empire and still feel like I’m progressing. The world looks gorgeous, the character creator is dangerously deep, and there’s always “one more thing” to optimise, which is perfect for my min‑max brain. Where it lost me a bit (SEEMS LIKE FOREVER AGO!) The new‑player experience is overwhelming. There are so many systems (enhancement, energy, workers, nodes, life skills, seasonal rules, etc.) and the tutorial doesn’t really explain how they all fit together, so I spent a lot of time wiki‑hopping instead of just playing. Endgame also feels thin if you’re used to traditional MMO raiding; there’s no clear raid ladder, and a lot of the “endgame” is personal gear goals, PvP, and life‑skill empires. AFK life skills like fishing can also warp the economy and make active grinding feel less rewarding, which kills some of the momentum. Who I think this is for If you like solo‑friendly progression, deep systems, fashion, and action combat—and you’re okay setting your own long‑term goals—BDO is fantastic. If you want structured group content, a strong story, or a gentle onboarding experience, it’ll probably frustrate you. My final take Black Desert Online is a beautiful, systems‑heavy sandbox that rewards patience and self‑direction. I had a blast mastering combat and building my little empire, but the grind, RNG, and lack of clear group endgame kept it from feeling like a perfect fit. For me it’s a 7–8/10: absolutely worth trying if you like the idea of a personal progression MMO, but only if you’re comfortable with a steep learning curve and a lot of solo play.
