Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I have a love-hate relationship with idle games. In many ways, it's difficult to call them games at all. Often they're more like interactive screensavers. I would say Bit-cremental Fishistry (BCF) certainly falls under this category. Of course, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Idle games fill that niche where you find yourself too busy or preoccupied to actively engage in an experience but still yearn for that lizard-brain dopamine hit of "making progress". Having said that, I don't think BCF truly scratches that itch for me. It's a bit too superficial, a bit too repetitive, and a bit too simple. It felt like a developer's first game. Which surprised me further, when I realized that Inner Realm Studios has been making games for over 5+ years. In such a scenario, it may as well have been a free experience. The moment you introduce pricing is the moment that this game now opens itself up to parallel comparisons with other idle games in a similar range. For instance, Cornerpond, developed by foolsroom, is also priced the same as BCF. In fact, it also shares the same fishing theme. But the detail and features are worlds apart.
For instance, the fish are actually visually distinguishable in Cornerpond.
To be fair, even at a Free to Play price point, there is already plenty of polished and expansive games competing for your limited time as a consumer. As such, I can't in good conscience recommend BCF.

This is a pretty slow-paced surface level idler without much going on. It's got a good aesthetic, but unfortunately the retro presentation isn't much to go on by itself. The sound and music becomes grating too, so I don't think there's much worth getting this for and I wouldn't recommend it.
Yeah, it's a bit pointless, but it sat on my second screen, entertaining me for an evening and a half, and that's good enough for a game I paid a few cents for. It's an idle game. Active gameplay is basically nonexistent. The worst part by far was the fact that it starts up with the CRT filter active, which made me unable to read all the tutorials it throws at me before it lets me access the menu to turn that nightmare off.
Not a long game, not a bad game. Kinda wish there was more, but I don't regret buying it.
Very fun game that can be played in background. Progress just fast enough not to be boring. Recommend.
The kind of idler you ideally check on every 15 minutes to buy some upgrades. I enjoyed 100%ing it :)
around 12 hours to 100% and few hours AFk
Very good game.
yes.
A decent Idle game, emphasis on Idle. I usually spent a lot of time completing Idle games but I can't say this was is too difficult or complicated. Great if you want to have something running in the background while you work on other things but that's about it.
