You are a bird. You have a nest. Other birds want your eggs. Birds of War is a team-based aerial PvP game. Raid nests, steal eggs, fight beak-to-beak in fast, chaotic matches built around flight and combat. Your mic is always hot. Your enemies can hear you. Plan accordingly.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 29 → 6.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A Shoebill just headbutted your teammate into a tree. A Crow is halfway home with your last egg, and every enemy on the map can hear you losing it over voice chat.
3v3v3 aerial combat. Nine birds, three nests, one goal: the team with the most eggs in their nest at the end wins.
Raid enemy nests, extract their eggs, bring them home, and defend your own nest while everything falls apart around you.
Proximity chat is active in every game. You will hear the enemy before you see them, and they will hear you too.
Four birds at launch, with more on the way: Crow the stealth assassin, Hummingbird the speed demon, Shoebill the tank, and Pigeon the support menace with UAV-style marking.
Combat is melee-first and physics-driven. Every elimination feels earned, and every fight feels like an all-out war.
Zero pay-to-win. Nothing in the shop makes your bird hit harder or fly faster.
In late 2025, we saw a meme about a fake bird game that did not exist. HexNest Games is now building it in Unreal Engine 5 with the support of the Discord community.

Fun game
This game is very fun. with friends and it can get competative.
G.O.T.Y. who says that bats are OP it's just skill issue, i am maining pigeon, i am usually MVB (MOST VALUABLE BIRD) and bats fear me
Its a fun game and great concept but the matchmaking lets it down. Multiple times it has proceeded to match one team of 3 against two other teams of 1 which is pretty impossible odds. While the player base is so small a 2 team model would probably balance better especially since waiting on a lobby to fill can take a while. I also think its stange that you cant invite more than 3 friends to join you (in a personal lobby), because in my opinion one of the most fun ways to play the game would be getting as many of your mates together as possible and versing eachother 3 v 3 etc. The level discrepancy (not just skill discrepancy) between new players and older also makes it a bit harder to enjoy in the beggining. And it does feel a little lackluster to always be playing the same people over and over again (but obviously the devs cant magically increase the player base.) All of the gaming mechanics are nice though, and very enjoyable on that front.
Really fun gameplay and controls that make sense, the game looks good to, the varity of game modes is great as well. My only grip is that match making feels a bit off I wish I could invite more then two people to play, i think two teams would work better for a player base of this size. Really really fun just wish i could invite more friends :)
I mean, it's a fun game. But the combat can feel very frustrating. Especially trying to get the lock on to work properly.
