Photo-Stun a Laser Plant to steal its Glow Orb, stick it on a nervous Lizard, drive it ahead of you, and it will light the way while you follow at a safe distance.
There are countless ways players can create useful outcomes and develop new tactics. Snapping creatures doesn’t just stun them, it also unlocks all their behavioural quirks contained in their many AI states.
Bioframe avoids guns and any other cliched weapons. Everything in the world can be used, offensively or defensively, according to player preference and their knowledge of the world. Lateral thinking is key and easily rewarded.
Are vampiric butterflies in the way? Lure them with their favourite food and add them to your inventory to create a portable attack swarm. Release them near enemies and they clear the way for you.

Love the art style! I enjoy the UX of the (Planetfall) and (The Cycle: Frontier) world exploration aspect, and Bioframe hits the similar setting vibe for me. One major immersion breaker is the pc controls are Jank. Some keys can't be remapped.
Got Bioframe Outpost for my recently acquired Steam Deck :) as more relaxed play. It's good and quite different to what I'd usually go for. The environment and it's connected beasts, plants and infected inhabitants creates some quite cool puzzles, feed this with that to distract or use enemies against each other. I'm sure I've got a lot to discover yet and I'm enjoying becoming more powerful in the world as I go. The photography mechanic is really quite cool and sometimes quite a challenge to capture moving targets, but it's rewarding when you get it right. Tons of side quests to come back to, but mostly following the main one at the moment. Only issue I have is some of the text in the comic cut-scenes is hard to read on the deck but it's possible.

Great game well worth the asking price! Learning how to deal with obstacles without resorting to attacking feels fresh in a metroidvania. And unlike many other in the genre it doesn't overstay it's welcome. All in all, had a great time with it and hope it has a long tail.
I'm really enjoying this game, especially as it opens up and more of the ecosystem is laid bare to discover and interact with. The camera is one of the primary tools and is super satisfying to use; you feel quite the detective and I find myself photographing everything I come across and generating new situations to capture. It has bags of atmosphere, the story is compelling but doesn't get in the way, and the map has been really fun to explore so far.

This game offers an intriguing story and a rich universe. You need to figure out by yourself how the creatures and plants interact, which is a nice challenge. You can’t shoot your way through the game with a gun; making exploration much more entertaining. You have to use a camera and scan everything that’s moving in order to find the best solution to the puzzles. Nice little game!
A bunch of loosely connected rooms filled with dangerous stuff that wants to kill you. Improvise some tools to temporarily soothe or distract them to make your way between checkpoints. Find hidden stuff to make all of this easier. The checkpoints are generous, experimentation is highly rewarded, and the secrets range from "well obviously i need to come back to this later" to "Oh my god why didn't I think of this sooner". No bosses, no difficulty spikes, and thank goodness. I was able to actually clear this one.
Bioframe Outpost is a game about observing and learning the behaviour of the various creatures that inhabit the different biomes of a space station and using them for your own advantage. Every problem the game throws at you can be solved in a myriad of ways for example by using distractions using the camera to stun key targets or using interactions between different creatures for your own advantage. This game is an easy recommend for everyone that enjoyed the outer wilds, although i should mention that it is slightly more challenging mechanically.
