Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 60.14/day in the week to Sep 11 → 119.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Bills Must Be Paid is an active incremental game about paying your bills by smashing piggy banks.
Smashing costs stamina. When your hand is getting tired the run is over.
Bills show up. If you ignore them, bankruptcy will be your destiny. Pay them off to unlock perks that help you pay back your bills even faster.
Paying bills also gives you legacy points which you can spend on rings and bracelets to upgrade your hand after declaring bankruptcy.
New types to discover. Some run away, some are too lazy to move, and others carry all the black money you never had :P...
Piggies spawn random loot
You never know which one is holding the most, or do you?
A skill tree with multiple paths. Improve your grip strength, get addicted to caffeine, hit the gym, pump up your wrist, get more lucky, unlock abilities like rock rain, electrify your hammer, and more.
Unlock different types of hammer. Some have higher crit chance and smaller radius, while others are super fast with big radius and less damage. Choose the one that better fits your own playstyle.

amazing game
This was WAY more fun than I expected. A must have for a good evening or two to chill with.
What an enjoyable diversion! Also cathartic if you're feeling stressed out. SMASH!!! xD I paid $7 and got 10 very pleasant hours out of this game. It's not really like anything else I play, but Steam put it on my discovery queue. I almost dismissed it out of hand as the piggy smashing looks an awful lot like a mobile game, and that's really not my bag. However, the skill tree caught my interest so I gave it a shot. I'm so glad I did! There's just enough of a sense of progression without it being too intense or complicated. "Numbers go up" tickles my brain and gives me that little jolt of dopamine. The gambling is a trap!!! Don't do it! Except for the achievements, of course. xD Seriously... I didn't actually win until cycle 8... because I was trying to gamble my way to the top. Toni is also a trap!!! Don't borrow money! It just delays the inevitable! Huh. I wonder if the gambling and loan shark are a little social or economic commentary by the devs. Clever! :D Obviously, play how you want... my little gambling addiction probably gave me three or four extra hours of gameplay, since I'd lose and have to start over. lol It is the perfect length, too. When I finished the game, I felt like I wanted just a bit more... but then realized if the game continued on (and you CAN continue after you beat it), it'd just feel grindy without anything on which to spend the money earned by the grind. I continued just long enough to finish the skill tree for the achievement, and then I quit the game with just a smidge of sadness that it was over. Final verdict: worth every penny of the asking price.

Slow updates despite a lack of replayability, wasted potential.
Gutes Game. Geile Mechaniken und super Design... Nur leider ist nach ca. 4h der Spaß auch schon wieder vorbei. Etwas zu kurz meiner Meinung nach. TRotzdem empfehlenswert !!

Not worth full price, maybe for $3 this would be good. I completed 100% of the game in 3 runs. There isn't any content here. I'd be more okay with the bare bones experience, but runs seem to take way too long. My final run took an hour and thirty minutes. The run before that took an hour, and it was only that short because I quit out. This game just feels like a waste of potential at the moment. I cannot recommend.
