Big Ambitions is a revolutionary role-playing business sim. Go from nothing to the biggest entrepreneur in New York by opening small businesses or slowly building huge corporations any way you like.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 20/day in the week to Aug 28 → 78.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Your bank balance is tiny, but your ambitions are big.
With a little help from your uncle, you get an apartment and your first job. But then it's up to you to achieve success and take over New York City any way you like.
Slowly build multiple small businesses, grow them into huge corporations, or carve your own unique path – the possibilities are limitless in this vast business sandbox. You've never played anything like this!
Go from a small apartment and public transport to luxury suites, fast cars and designer furniture. Put your money into investment funds and real estate. Succeed, fail, rebuild. But remember to take care of yourself, sleep and stay happy on your rise to the top.
Do you have what it takes to build your own empire?

Go from nothing to the most prominent tycoon in New York. Start a business, work smart, make it thrive and enjoy your life. How do you want to be successful? How far can you push it? How long can you make it last?
Start your own gift shop, supermarket, coffee shop, law firm, clothing store, liquor store, florist, and more. You decide what success is - whether it’s a single shop, a chain of fast-food restaurants, a huge corporation, or making millions developing websites.
Take out a loan, rent a building, design the logo, renovate the store, get stock, manage your money, hire staff, and build your infrastructure. Soon, you may have to start importing products from the harbour and distributing them through a network of warehouses.
A bigger business means managers. Hire HR Managers, Logistics Managers, and Purchasing Agents. They all need desks and computers, so you’ll need a fancy headquarters.
Need a delivery truck? Travel to a dealer and buy one. Need food? Go to a supermarket, but make sure you have a refrigerator at home. Big Ambitions is a life sim where your character has to physically interact with the world to survive and succeed.
Enter any building in New York and buy it. Go from a small apartment to a dream penthouse in midtown, a luxurious townhouse in Hell’s Kitchen, or a series of skyscrapers. Fill each with furniture that suits your style and standing. Invest your hard-earned cash in real estate to grow your empire. Take over the city piece by piece.
Spend your wealth however you wish. Buy a big SUV, a speedy sports car, or the new luxurious Mersaidi S500. Maybe risk it all at the casinos or put your money into investment funds and reap the rewards.
As you progress, you always need to ensure you get enough sleep and stay healthy and happy. Enjoy the journey, for as you grow older, you’ll discover that money can’t buy you time... or can it?
Big Ambitions takes what you love about the viral sensation ‘Startup Company’ to even greater heights.

expecting us to drive around new york's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ roads in vehicles that almost feel like ice skating whilst surrounded by drivers who stop on a dime at yellow lights in a vehicle more fragile than a 90 year old for jobs that deduct money for the vehicle's condition or lack thereof while making measly pay is an absurd expectation. super glad so many people are masochists who dig that kind of ♥♥♥♥. my brand of masochism has a clearly defined line, and this crossed it.
Amazing game, but character creation page needs work

Enjoying so far. First job as a delivery driver cost me more in damages than the wage. Day 3 I lost my car, parked it somewhere now can't find it. Next stop, World Domination.
Initial review having played 14.5 hours: I'll start with the biggest CONS: Bad DRIVING MECHANICS, and the fact that they'd be so much active driving involved. I assumed this was just a business Sim game but the driving is very much a Cyberpunk 2077 minigame with super clunky controls. Tip 1: Tap directional keys for better control on the road. Avoid hitting anything because the car repairs cost a ton. Tip 2: DO NOT by any means take any delivery jobs as your first job. Not until you've gotten used to driving around. Actually don't take them ever. Go for EL GATO SUPERMARKET CASHIER as your first job task. It's walking distance from your first apartment and the job is posted INSIDE the supermarket building. CON 2: After you've established your first business, things slow down a bit. Game requires patience where you fall into this mundane daily rinse and repeat as you wait for revenue to pile up before you can expand into other businesses. Then again I'm only 14 hours into gameplay i.e. 22 days in-game, so it's probably too early to judge that. PROS: It gets addictive. After you get used to the driving mechanics and get past the initial tutorial tasks, form contracts with your contacts, you can automate some of these tasks from your in-game phone, set up deliveries etc, the game starts to grow on you. I find myself coming back to it the next day and see where it goes. EXPECTATION: Set your expectations for this game. It is a BUSINESS SIM. You will rent buildings, set up businesses, hire employees, or later buy out other business buildings. I see on social media it's being marketed as a "The Sims" type game but IT IS NOT THAT. There is no build mode (buildings already exist, you simply furnish them), no interpersonal relationship mechanics, and the interior decoration is not a huge aspect, rather it's a side thing, often to fulfill business requirements (e.g. buy and place a water cooler for your employees). DO NOT GO IN thinking it's The Sims.
Game is really fun and addictive but I cant recommend this game due its use of generative ai. I'll flip my review to positive if they replace gen ai with art made by humans. I love this game so far but the ai usage is a huge bummer
i played this game 3 years ago when it was still in early access, and decided to pick it back up when i saw that 1.0 is released. honestly, im quite disappointed with how less QOL updates there is from 3 years. i dont get the point of being able to hire a logistics and purchasing manager when i still have to manually do it myself? i literally have to get my pen and paper to write down how much stock i need to order per week, and then divide it by 7 for per day for my logistics to deliver. same with the price manager, whats the point when i have to go in and click to set the price everyday instead of them doing it automatically? i get that this is a game where you experience running the whole business yourself, but with my 50hrs, i spend most of my time skipping time by sleeping, writing down numbers. doesnt help that everything isnt on 1 screen, so i have to keep switching back and forth. this feels like a real job at this point and feels like im actually running my own business with all the bad parts too, except that im not even getting real money from it. getting to the factory part made it even worse, as i had to write down what machines i need, where what who why and that just made me feel so stressed out i just quit the game. this game really feels more like a chore than fun. theres just constantly endless things to do, not in a fun way. i feel like a housewife with 10 screaming kids and the house is in a mess and my dinner is burning on the stove and im just crashing out.
