Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 11 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You live in a dimly lit, exotic apartment basement in a small, cluttered office. You don’t know what your neighbors are up to. But you want to know everything.
In Beyond the Doors, your job begins every night right when your neighbors shut their doors
and disappear. Place recording devices near their doors. Build a chain to transmit the sound back to your basement office. Collect, analyze, and send these sounds to the people who request information from you each day.
As you place more devices, your network will grow more complex. It's up to you to set up the right connections and fix broken network. Use the credits you earn to buy upgrades, merge tangled chains, and build the perfect network.
Climb the stairs. Walk the halls. Dig through trash. Sometimes you’ll find random documents or new devices to aid your mission. While doing all this, you may witness some mysterious events. Maybe there is a different universe waiting for you behind the doors you think you can't enter.

while this game is very barebones as of writing, I've had a lot of fun with it so far. but to be fair, i've found the cleaning to be very satisfying, and there's a LOT of that to do haha. i'm really excited to see where this game goes, it's got a fantastic foundation to build on!!!
Really awesome and fun game. It is very much inspired by votv and it would be nice to see some more unique stuff in the future as well as more content because I basically did everything
It's okay. Definitely early access. Needs a lot of TLC. It's like Voices of the Void in many ways, including the menus and other ways the controls work. It falls far short of VotV, though. Lots of obvious QoL stuff needs to be implemented. Animations for the tools (even just very basic stuff). You need to be able to sweep things physically, and gather them into trash bags for easier disposal. It might be better if, instead of infinite trash cans, you had a trash compactor, and you could throw full garbage bags in there. The systems are too simple and tedious. The orders for the rooms are just annoying enough to make me ignore them. I make money collecting trash so why focus on the room orders? The room orders need to be different somehow, maybe box the items up or bag them, so you don't have to leave the items on the doorstep one by one like an animal (this could even make multiple deliveries even simpler). It's a fine time waster but not particularly interesting yet. It's nice to see things getting cleaner, I suppose. There ought to be more to the cleaning process, though. VotV lets you use rags to clean walls and such, for example. I just think the dev should lean more into the cleaning angle--you are a janitor, after all. I hope the dev keeps putting the work in and makes this something special, and diverges somewhat from its direct inspiration.

It's got good bones, but the content is just a little thin as of right now. Though, that annoying bug that wigs your mouse controls around whenever you step on trash is going to drive me up the wall. The immersive-creepy sim feeling is there, the basic game loop is there. But as another review said, it really just feels like a less polished VotV in how similar the base loop and UI feels right now, which isn't bad as a beginning but it needs time to expand and find it's own character. If you're wanting more of what games like Voices of the Void bring and are willing to invest and wait some time for updates and content to get fleshed out than I'd say it's a go for it. Note: I should mention the Linux version is next to unplayable for me, but the windows version via proton experimental works just fine! The graphics were default set to high for me which was causing some fps issues, but bringing down the graphic settings to medium cleared up all fps issues for me.
I have been really enjoying this game. its a weirdly calming eerie experience and I've spent hours just trying to clean and decorate the complex well after the game ran out of events to throw at me. The only problem I currently have with it is there's no like direction or story i can make sense of right now. Events just happen and are really cool but don't seem to mean anything. I'm optimistic they will expand on them later, but right now a spooky thing will happen and I go "oh that's clever" and move on. idk the scary stuff feels more like rooms in a haunted house than things that tie together or have meaning. other than that I really do love this game and think it has potential to be something very cool.
its just not a good game. its not fun. just go play voices of the void instead of this. trust me, you will have a much better time playing voices of the void over this trash.
The garbage economy has never been stronger
I can't wait to be able to listen to the recordings, Right now its a great foundation!
