I thought this might have promise but it turns out to be pretty weak. My gripes: AI is awful. Enemies will stand still while you gun down their friends. You can shoot people and they have no sense of self preservation. Very hard to tell if one is crouched. Crouch is not smooth, it's binary you are high or low with no transition. Cannot rebind movement keys. The environment is minimally interactive no ability to destroy objects, climb ladders etc... The graphics, despite being "upgraded" still see flat lighting in the environments. The promo shots of the game feels misleading. The architectural textures are boring and low res. Your own walking sound sounds like it is slightly behind you, so it always feels as if an enemy is stalking you. I appreciate the tension, but it is misplaced. I'll put some more time into the game and see if it has anything that hooks me, but that contingency seems to be a remote one. If you like no frills old school games there might be something here for you, but even at that the price seems steep compared to other games you can get for that money. It's not awful, but it's also not good. I would give it a 3.5/10. I really dislike giving bad reviews, but the devs should have put way more effort in this "remaster". In the end it made me want to play Project IGI, which is sadly not on Steam. What I liked: The weapons felt pretty good. The premise is good. The outdoor environments look good.

no save points.
Graphics are much better but still can not save or even checkpoint auto saves. AI could use more work. performance better than before. No ladder climbing ability. It has promise to be a good game but needs more work. For the cost as it is i would recommend catching it on sale. I hope they include sniper scopes with silencers, really needed.
project IGiiiiii . yes . ORIGINS . yes
this game is not of a remastered it more like a cash grab
This is very interesting. The approach of old Delta Force games: Xtreme, Land Warrior mixed with aesthetics of CoD 4 and Operation Flashpoint. Good Graphics, and it does its job of classic tactical shooters like Delta or first Ghost Recon. What's important of UE games these days - optimization -, and this runs flawless. While Strike Force 2 is a PowerPoint slide-show this runs like Call of duty Moden Warfare 2007. Tell me a game which enemies hear your reload , mag drop on the floor, crouching on the metal roof surface and in close meter grass terrain. Yeah, nobody cares about logic details anymore. Reload noise, okay I, didn't expect that in this indie bugged title. The gameplay is basically sandbox mission, you have differnt amount of objectives some missions around 6 obj. to be made, some less. Accomplish them as you want. No limits. Tbh I am tired of scripted campaigns and this give you freedom like Ghost Recon and Delta Force. And the 'Behind enemy lines' thesis makes sense in that style now. As you can choose different paths even from other side of map. You start with some cool guns, no any lsd fantasies with attachments wannabe propaganda. Guns have interesting sound samples they choose for them, like MP7 or M16 or Famas. They sound a bit different than we knew but it is nice to hear sth different. Models are authentic. Game have two campaign modes, and four single missions. The free added operation in winter facilities is 2nd shorter campaign. Not bad at all. I prefer this non scripted stuff than call of duty these days. It does bring the vibe. Despite the flaws and poor AI I love it somehow. Real guns, nice sounds, sandbox, various landscapes. Warehouse and Village my fav missions. Facility and Power Plant are tactical hardcore. Made with UE assets, budget limitations etc., but can give nice vibe. Like old Delta Force. Buy it on sale the best way, or just support the small studio. Full price is a little bit too high. I can't wait for new Beyond Enemy Lines Vietnam. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ A! Let's go, Vietnam War era will return hard and strong this and next year 🔥🤞
Buying this game was a big misstake. Maybe if it was 25 years ago I would have liked this game. Doesent look remeastered at all.

Zum Gameplay: Das Spiel erinnert stark an alte Klassiker wie Project I.G.I.
Did you like or even love I.G.I. and I.G.I. 2? This is a homage to both... but even better!!
