Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's fun. I beat it it under an hour however. So Definitely not worth $39. Get it on a half off or better sale.

nice game
The puzzles stopped being fun and started getting tedious around number 26. I didn't think it was worth finishing. Fine, but not for $43. There are much better puzzles out there.

Best Plumber is a compact, old-school puzzle game that leans heavily on a familiar concept and delivers it with minimal embellishment. Developed and published by Hograung Studio, the game revolves around a classic pipe-connecting formula that many players will immediately recognize from early casual and browser-based puzzle games. Its goal is straightforward: rotate pipe segments to create a continuous flow of water from a starting point to an endpoint before the timer runs out. This simplicity defines both the game’s appeal and its limitations, positioning Best Plumber as a light, no-frills logic experience rather than a modern, feature-rich puzzle title. The core gameplay loop is easy to grasp and quick to engage with. Each level presents a grid of pipe pieces that can be rotated using the mouse, and once the player believes the path is complete, water begins to flow. A time-based star rating system encourages faster solutions, pushing players to think not only about correctness but also efficiency. This adds a mild layer of pressure and replay value, as achieving the maximum rating often requires planning several moves ahead rather than relying on trial and error. While the puzzles do grow more complex as new pipe configurations are introduced, the challenge remains rooted in pattern recognition and spatial reasoning rather than inventive mechanics. Visually, Best Plumber embraces a deliberately simple and somewhat dated aesthetic. Pipes, grids, and backgrounds are clean and readable, ensuring that puzzle elements are easy to identify at a glance. However, the presentation feels closer to a legacy mobile or Flash game than a contemporary PC release. Animations are basic, effects are minimal, and there is little visual variety between stages. For some players, this stripped-down look evokes nostalgia and keeps the focus squarely on the puzzle-solving itself. For others, the lack of polish and modern visual feedback can make the experience feel underwhelming or unfinished. Control responsiveness is one of the more contentious aspects of the game. Interaction is limited entirely to mouse input, which should theoretically make the experience smooth and intuitive. In practice, rotating pieces—especially when zoomed out to view the entire grid—can feel imprecise. Misclicks and accidental rotations occasionally interrupt the flow of play, creating friction in a game that otherwise aims to be relaxing and mentally engaging. These issues don’t render the game unplayable, but they can become frustrating during timed attempts where precision matters. In terms of content, Best Plumber is a short experience. The total number of levels is modest, and most players can complete the full set in a single sitting or over the course of a couple of short sessions. Replay value is largely tied to perfectionism—earning all stars, completing achievements, and refining solution times—rather than discovering new mechanics or modes. There is no narrative framing, progression system, or thematic evolution; once the puzzles are solved, there is little reason to return unless the player enjoys optimization for its own sake. Community reception reflects this narrow focus. Players who enjoy simple, classic logic puzzles often appreciate Best Plumber as a quick and accessible diversion that doesn’t overstay its welcome. Others criticize it for lacking depth, refinement, and content relative to its price, noting that similar pipe-connecting puzzles are widely available with more polish or variety. The experience feels functional rather than ambitious, delivering exactly what it promises but little more. Ultimately, Best Plumber is best suited for players seeking a brief, uncomplicated puzzle game rooted in familiar mechanics. It doesn’t attempt to reinvent its genre or expand beyond its core idea, and its value depends heavily on how much the player enjoys traditional pipe-rotation challenges. For those who find satisfaction in solving clean, logical problems and chasing perfect times, it offers a modest but serviceable experience. For players expecting innovation, longevity, or modern presentation, it may feel too barebones to leave a lasting impression. Rating: 6/10
Title: Overpriced and exhausting — wouldn’t play without a discount Rating: 😐 (or 👎 if you prefer) I only played Best Plumber because I found it sitting in my library and wanted to clear some achievements. No way I would’ve bought this full price — it’s way too expensive for what it offers. Without a heavy discount, just skip it. Getting all 3-star ratings took years off my life. The grind is real, and not in a fun way. The idea is solid — maybe a 8/10 — but the execution is closer to a 3/10. Clunky mechanics, frustrating difficulty spikes, and zero polish. So if idea (8) + execution (3) = expectation of ~5.5, that’s exactly what my final score is. My final rating: 5.5/10 — only for achievement hunters with patience to burn.
this game is actually cool, it makes u vibe in the feeling of being a good plumber, the levls get progresively harder and even though i could make the game in 2 hours i think i couldnt think of such many ways to embrace such a game idea. i whould reccomand this game, although the price is a bit to much. 6/10
