Its fun and unique!
Just over six hours played, I only managed to win a couple of expeditions in the last two hours or so, but I feel they are enough: perhaps not yet to provide some kind of highly detailed description of the game, in any case not sufficiently documented at the time of writing, or of its mechanics (which are moreover complex, innovative, and stimulating), but enough to appreciate it as a whole, and leave a trace of this appreciation among the unfortunately scarce reviews. Beneath Oresa is, as promised, a - marvelous - roguelike deckbuilder, in which we play as one of many characters from different factions who, accompanied by a loyal companion, ventures into the depths of a once magnificent and prosperous city, cradle of a highly advanced civilization now extinct, whose city-state has fallen into ruin, and yet still pulses with riches, treasures, and knowledge. I say this not out of virtuosity, but because the game does an exceptional job of contextualizing its plot, its aesthetic, its very essence, thanks to a masterful use of environments, curious objects unearthed from the rubble, and its cast, each one self-narrating a story. The formula is that of STS, therefore cards, relics (antiquorum), buffs, debuffs, enemy intentions, etc., but it is taken and, in my opinion, revolutionized in every aspect, both for the variety and novelty of the mechanics specific to each faction and character (above all the “virus” mechanic) and for a choice that, more than graphical (Borderlands-like, therefore cartoonish 3D, almost a three-dimensionalized drawing), is stylistic or, better yet, directorial: every card, as we know, corresponds to an action, but this action is represented on a battlefield with a gyroscopic camera, which follows and enhances the impact and feedback of the chosen move, promoting an adrenaline-filled and engaging dynamism. For example, every attack card played zooms in on the player delivering the blow, and for a handful of seconds the animation slows down, goes into slow motion, so that by playing the next card a sort of visual “combo,” a succession, a continuity of the action is created. The flow of the game is not only flashier and more spectacular, but the “cards” finally convey the power of their illustrations. I’ll stop here: having managed to win a couple of runs (on the lowest difficulty) and, more importantly, having had an incredible amount of fun both in terms of pure gameplay, therefore strategy and deckbuilding, and in terms of satisfaction, I recommend the title with all my heart. Yes, it is difficult, and also destabilizing because of the exorbitant amount of information, mechanics, and, in a word, possibilities upon possibilities for gameplay, but with a bit of patience you will be, like me, first captivated, and then rewarded in a number of hours (in my case destined to increase) that truly strikes the right balance between progression and instructive defeat, until unlocking that long-desired freedom of choice in how to conduct each run, every one of which is always new, tough, and equally rewarding.

Every market we collect.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 23 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I had loads of fun with this one and really like the art style, I got my copy from Humble Bundle
Non mi piace.
Fun game! Love the art style, and the animations combined with a deckbuilder. Hard, punishing and quite rough many times, but insanely rewarding when it goes your way.
It sucks... Just save your money for something that's actually worth it.
