fun af, should really play more of it.

in-game volume control (the whole one slider...) does not work. pretty big let down for a rhythm game... rest of the game is whatever. i don't think it's bad but i don't think it does anything to stand out. it looks fine, it plays fine, but your time would be better spent elsewhere.

This was a nice enjoyable game. It doesn't waste the player's time and is broken up nicely into levels. The music is quite relaxing.

Beatbuddy: Tale of the Guardians is a music rhythm puzzle game that has some fantastic music and fun puzzles. You bop around the screen bashing things in time to the beat to break open new paths, or dodge bullets so you can progress to the next section. It is generally fun to play but has an entirely forgettable story and it is plagued by game-killing bugs. I saw a few along the way, whole sections not spawning for example, but was able to get around them and then when I was right at the end the game lost a key item I needed to progress. I only had one save and so would have had to start again to get there and, well, the game wasn't really fun enough for that I'm afraid. If you can avoid the bugs you'll have some fun here but they killed it for me sadly.

Nice rythm game, but felt somewhat lacking. It's very casual and hardly challenging, which it's ok if that's what you are looking for, I was expecting something slightly more challening and enganging. Still pretty good though, there's nothing essentially wrong with that. The music and movement is certainly the main focus and it does that pretty well.
