Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 19 → 5.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is an awesome game for those who grew up on Battletech, have no idea what it is and want to get into it, or for those who just want a turn based RPG game with big stompy robots. As a kid who's dad raised him on Battletech this game is a streamlined version of the tabletop game that makes for an excellent game. It isn't like the Mechwarrior games but it still hits that same nostalgia and also that same feel on a grander scale.
Good Game. A good introduction into the Battletech universe and really shines with the addition of mods.

FUN
If you like mech on mech violence and don’t mind it being turn based, you should get this game - short version. To be honest i’m more fan of real time titles that were in Battletech universe before - in particular - MechCommander 2, bring it back! It’d be so much better to have Battletech (the game one) in real time. So lets start with graphics - design is easy to cover, cause you got what you expect - chunky and blocky mechs that look realistic enough with all wear and tear, and with which you feel their weight as they move or slag each other, most satisfying moments being when you do hit smth important and robot starts to cook off. Maps look nice too, without that much of unexpected variety, just usual earth-like planets or some space bodies like moons. Oh and just in general game looks fine, not sure it’d be still seen as decent in smth like 10 years or so, cause realistic graphics do tend to get taken over by next generation of realism and become less of a looker. There are also hand drawn still image cutscenes which to be honest range from very nice to so so, but ofc they are definitely inferior to live action ones of Mech Commander 2, so BRING IT BACK! So audio - Mech Commander 2 had better tracks! Well, it’s not to say Battletech ones are bad or anything, but they are not as catchy in my opinion, though it might be nostalgia talking. Sound though are great, all weapons, mechs walking around, hits and explosions are awesome, and bring great enjoyment. Oh and voice acting for characters is fine, lots of them don’t have it though. Gameplay - it’s turn based combat with lots of intricacies - range, elevation, type of weapon, type of ground, which part of robot you’re aiming at - its all matters here and ofc there is great deal of luck involved, cause sometimes you’d have to chew through armour and then structural integrity of your adversary or it could be lucky cabin shot that evacuates human pilot from the mech premises. Besides combat there is planning stage where you talk to crew, get plot exposition, travel to other star systems for quests, shops, mechwarriors and contracts, manage pilots and ship and most importantly build your mechs, not like from ground up, but you do choose what to arm and equip them with within given range of tonnage and hardpoints. Plot covers campaign part and follows your mercenary band assisting reinstatement of one of factions of this universe after betrayal where you were one of victims too. Can’t say it’s anything writers prize worthy, but it serves it’s job - to introduce you to this world and gameplay mechanics, after which you can embark on journey of career mode, which offers more freedom and no plot to follow, just you and your merry band going around, making name for yourselves, allying with whoever you choose and so on.
great game
BUYER BEWARE this is a third person mech warrir shooter. Not first person shooter like the other mechwarrior games. I was extremely disappointed to find that it is like playing a virtual chess game. The screen shots were very misleading, only one or two on the store page show actual gameplay. Furthermore, I open the game to be greeted with more woke strong empowered girlboss main character nonsense. If I want to watch lesbians overpower men with machines, Id just watch another Iron Man sequel. I genuinely believed that the melee attack was going to be two mech's scissoring. I cant believe I payed money for this horrible title!!!
Great story line, base game was fun for a playthrough or two, but get bta 3062 advanced for a mod, and never get sick of playing.
is good
